Like a heroic medic in the heart of battle, Guerrilla Cambridge has zapped PlayStation Vita favourite Killzone: Mercenary with a free update today, adding two new multiplayer maps to the first-person shooter. The subterranean Tharsis Depot and multilayered Blood Gracht will be instantly familiar to franchise fans, as these layouts have also appeared in Killzone 2 and Killzone 3.
You’ll need around 167MB of free space in order to download the patch, or approximately 526MB if you’re yet to install any previous updates. Considering that this title once played host to fixes over 1GB in size, we’d say that that’s an impressive improvement. Is your bloodlust gagging for some more Guerrilla Warfare? Are the bots available yet as well?
Great that it's still getting support. I really enjoy jumping on for a quick match every now and then.
I've been tempted to dip in but as I have shadow fall I still can't see myself splashing out. Great that its getting support though.
@RyoHazuki it's well worth it. Superbly crafted gameplay on the Vita.
@RyoHazuki This is by far my fave KZ game after playing through them all.
@irken004 Agreed. I really hope they make more Killzone games like this, or additional story DLC.
