While the PlayStation 4’s excellent share features have been very well received in the gaming sphere, many have been begging for a direct YouTube upload option for a while now. Sony mitigated this issue slightly by allowing video clips to be copied to USB sticks in the system's most recent update, but starting later this year, Google’s popular media platform will be integrated directly into the next-gen machine.
“YouTube will officially be one of the social options offered when you press the share button on your DualShock 4,” product manager Sarah Ali explained. “After pressing share, you’ll see the YouTube icon pop up alongside Facebook, Twitter, Twitch, and Ustream, and in just a couple of quick steps, you can go from playing your favourite games to publishing videos on your own YouTube channel.”
A native YouTube app will also be coming to Sony’s super machine soon, allowing you to watch your favourite videos, channels, and much more. It’s a long overdue addition as far as we’re concerned, but it’s nice to see the manufacturer get the functionality added in at last. Will you be taking advantage of this fresh feature? Happy that we finally will be able to watch YouTube properly and upload directly to YouTube
I don't think anyone will find issue with this
@Mrskinner Never underestimate the Internet!
Haha they'll just say YouTube should've been around by now =P
Well, for the app to watch YouTube, they'd probably be right.
Can you do like a voice over kinda thing?
