According to developer Guerrilla Games, the upcoming co-operative Intercept add-on for PlayStation 4 exclusive first-person shooter Killzone: Shadow Fall has drawn inspiration from a variety of different genres, including tower defence. Speaking as part of an interview on the PlayStation Blog, lead designer Arjan Bak explained that when playing as the Tactician class, you’ll have access to a variety of different turrets, which you’ll need to place strategically in order to get the upper hand against the Helghast.
Your objective will be to venture behind enemy lines, and fend off your orange-eyed foes long enough in order to establish an Uplink to your base. Rounds will support up to four players, with the Assault class including access to the jet pack from Killzone 3. There’ll be four arena maps included in the package, with the promise of more on the way. Don’t worry if you don’t own the core game either, as this will be deployed as both DLC and a standalone application, depending on which you prefer.

Just Wow. Exemplatory support for their game and their franchise. Can't wait to get into this!
Oh yes...can't wait to dive into this asap! I'm looking at you, @Scollurio
Consider this an appointment!
Day 1, man, day 1! I love everything co-op!
I'm in with you guys, absolutely amazing!!!! I wish there were more co-op games out there. (Online co-op) to be specific. This is awesome news....
Bring it on!!
@GreyFox You're welcome to join us, of course. Add me on PSN if you like: Reverend_Skeeve
And mention that you're from Pushsquare, please.
Even though I thought the game was so-so, I do respect the developers for continuing to strive to make it the best game possible. I actually really love co-op and would love to test this mode out for myself, unfortunately this is going to cost extra, and it's locked behind PS Plus.
