Ubisoft will be taking a little extra time to tinker with its ambitious open world racing release The Crew, as the title has taken a detour into December. The constantly connected ‘CaRPG’ had originally been set to take to the track on 11th November, but will now hit the road on 2nd December instead. The firm will use the extra time to run another beta test.
“We received a lot of valuable information from the recent PC and console betas,” creative director Julian Gerighty explained confidently on the Ubisoft Blog. “We are now scrutinising all of the player feedback so that we can ensure that The Crew delivers the seamless open world experience that meets everyone's high expectations.”
The company’s already tweaked rival artificial intelligence, difficulty, and voice chat, with more improvements no doubt to follow. We suppose that the delay also helps the game to avoid juggernauts such as DriveClub, which can’t hurt, huh? Are you disappointed by this news? Burn some rubber in the comments section below.

Not disappointed at all! This can only be good news, they are holding it back to make the game better, Happy days in my eyes! Pre-ordered and very much looking forward to this Game
Everything about this game lately is negative. If the delay fixes any of the problems that's a good thing. But if it's as bad a game as it seems from recent previews I'm not sure one month is enough time.
@Gamer83 I found the game to be awesome myself. The handling could use a bit of a tweak but I was happily impressed by the direction they're going with it. There were some crazy bugs in the beta but overall I thought it an awesome game
@redd214
I've honestly been seeing nothing but bad things about this game the last few days. I think yours is the first positive post I've seen. I was interested in the idea behind The Crew though so whatever issues it does have, hopefully they get ironed out by Dec. 2.
I personally didn't like the way that the cars handled when I played it, but I've enjoyed Ubisoft Reflections' previous racing games, so I'm still hopeful. If nothing else, this gives them a breather from DriveClub and Forza, so the delay should help them in that regard.
That's good news for me because November is already so packed anyway
December looks so barren compared with Nov
Probably won't day one this. Ill get it probably when I preorder witcher 3.
Feels like it should be pushed a little bit further.
