We recently asked you if there are any particular PlayStation 4 re-releases that you'd like to see in the future, and, unsurprisingly, an enhanced Uncharted Trilogy topped our poll. However, while developer Naughty Dog has been open to the idea in the past, series veteran Neil Druckmann doesn't believe that it has the resources right now.
"All of our focus is on Uncharted 4: A Thief's End," he said on a recent Game Informer podcast. "That's all that we can spare." During the conversation, the developer re-iterated that the entire studio is working full pelt on its forthcoming PlayStation 4 exclusive at the moment, with a handful of employees prototyping an unannounced project – presumably The Last of Us 2.
Of course, this doesn't rule out the possibility of an external team – such as port specialists BluePoint, for example – bringing the first three Uncharted games to the PS4. With so many newcomers crossing over to ship Sony, we're confident that the Japanese giant will find a way to get these games on its next-gen format soon. Watch this space.

I'm kinda conflicted right now if I should play the Uncharted games in the PS3 version of PSNow, or wait for the remasters (this being my first take in the series). Problem is, I'm sure that Sony list looking to make Uncharted 4 the big November title of this year, in that case, they better hurry up or let the cat out of the bag on if the remasters are being done or not.
The 60fps version of Uncharted 2 on youtube was the first clue, and the only clue needed, as far as I go. I think it is going to happen, before or after U4. Here is hoping
Didn't they say something quite similar when rumours of TLOU remastered surfaced? And that turned up in the end didn't it? Whether before or after uncharted 4 it's a no brainer cash cow.
It would have to be before U4, right? What's the point if not, much of the user base of the PS4 did not own the PS3 (myself included).
@sub12 I'm with you. I'm new to PlayStation but I've always wanted to play the Uncharted games. I don't really feel like "renting" them on PSNow, either. Come on, Naughty Dog! When there is high demand you take advantage of that!
From the sound of it, I think they're gonna be done after U4. Which, if they retire the series with 4, will give us another go at it in 1-2 years time. I'm okay either way.
Even though I've already re-played Uncharted 1 & 2 to death and will eventually re-play Uncharted 3, I'd gladly double dip on an Uncharted Trilogy PS4 Remaster.
I personally don't have interest in an Uncharted trilogy remaster, but a housemate of mine has a PS4 and he's been talking about wanting to get in the series. I think this would be a nice way to do so.
I do have one question- How would they handle multiplayer? 2 & 3 have their own multiplayer components, so I imagine if this was being made they would either just make one big multiplayer, or remove it.
Uncharted has a HD collection on PS3 this may be a better answer its only $19.99 on Amazon When I learned the Devil may cry was coming to PS4 I wanted to play the rest of the series so i looked for a collection on PS3 and found one in HD same price for 3 full games $19.99
@JohnKarnes that doesn't help those of us who don't have a PS3. A trilogy on PS4 would do very well.
