Jason Voorhees will not be the only silver screen star slashing into Mortal Kombat X as a downloadable character, as an errant Xbox Games Store listing has revealed that Predator will be joining the party, too. The dreadlocked nasty will be available as part of the Kombat Pack, which will also include the aforementioned Friday the 13th star, as well as two, er, Klassic Kharacters.
Just one extra little aside, as the web's literally oozing with Mortal Kombat news today: the PlayStation 4 version of the game will be compatible with PlayStation 3 fight sticks, according to Ed Boon. With the likes of Street Fighter V also on the way, we hope that this becomes a standard for fighting games moving forwards.

I like the stick news, but the bad thing is that I tried the previous game on a fight stick and failed miserably, specially x ray attacks, so I actually prefer to play these on a pad.
Hopefully SFV also supports PS3 sticks, as I would feel more at home with that one.
ok this is kind of weird for me. on one hand i HATE that mk puts horror movie characters in there game. it just seems really out of place and stupid. on the other hand, if someone hands me a dog s*** sandwich and tells me that the predator is in it. im going to damn well eat that sandwhich because i ABSOLUTELY LOVE LIVE AND BREATH THE PREDATOR.
Thats good news for my PS3 fightstick, if it wasn't compatible I was going to pass on this MK. As for the Predator, seems like a good fit for the MK universe actually. I can see him playing very similar to Cyrax/Sector, they share a similar look and weapon set already.
Everyone in the MK universe now needs to get to the chopper!
Woo! DLC characters announced pre-game launch! I like Predator, but it's unlikely I get the DLC unless it comes with the Kollectors edition.
