PlayStation Vita PS Vita Firmware Update 3.50

Sony's going firmware update mad. In addition to PlayStation 4 firmware update v2.50, which is due out tomorrow, it's also announced that PlayStation Vita firmware update v3.50 will deploy at some point later this evening. This will mostly complement the next-gen console's various improvements – enabling 60 frames-per-second Remote Play, for example – but will also add in a few features of its own.

Chief among these will be accessibility options, allowing you to change the size of the handheld's text, contrast, and much more. It'll also, as previously reported, remove the Maps application, while various features from Near will be yanked as well. Meanwhile, the PlayStation Network logo will be changed, while scene search and 1080p video support will be added to the on-board Video application.

Are there any firmware features that you're desperate to be added to your Vita? Set aside some time to update in the comments section below.
