We're not far off Toukiden: Kiwami's release date now, but if you're still not sure what the game's all about, you may want to take a look at this live gameplay demo.
If you skip forward to around the nine minute mark, you can catch plenty of action with one of the title's new weapon types, the naginata. Going up against one of Kiwami's fearsome new demons, it's some time before the party's finally able to bring the beast down. Of course, fans will already be well aware of how long it can take to achieve victory against the original release's bigger oni.
Do you think that the game will be a good fit on the PlayStation 4? Or will you be getting your slaying fix on Vita? Purify the comments section below.

sorta wish the Demo came out this weak (unless it did and I totally missed it)
@Volmun Nah you didn't - it should be out the week before release.
@ShogunRok Ah right cool tbh its how Capcom suld do the Monster Hunter Demo's and not some defalt charicter sets realy show off the game and its mechanics lol and I Still need to get the RE Rev2 SeasonPass.
@Volmun Yeah, I quite like a demo that lets you create your own character and stuff, who you can then import into the full game. It's a good incentive to get people to download it and try the game out.
Ok, I'm actually starting to get a little interested. Its still no Monster Hunter, but, I'm not gonna be playing MH4U forever (though probably a good year or so) and admittedly this does look pretty good if I'm being perfectly honest. It's weird though cause I own the original on Vita and I never could get into it. Idk, I just didn't like the monsters, er, "demons" I'd seen before. But this one got my blood pumping.
Hmmm...maybe it's time for me to reconsider pre ordering for PS4
I didn't really give the game much of a shot on PS Vita. I expected one thing and got another. I'm going to go into the PS4 demo for this game with a different mindset and hopefully I like it enough to buy. Hell if I can get a deal I may just to support more niche releases like this. These are the kind of 'B' games that separated PS2 from the pack.
Personally, $60 feels like too much for an upgraded re-release. I've never played much Toukiden so I don't know if it changes later on, but does it always start in a big arena fighting a monster like Soul Sacrifice or Freedom Wars? Because that could get hella boring real fast.
Monster Hunter seems to be the only one where you actually have to find your target, mark it, and then capture or kill it while traveling to different zones. If these other boss-hunter games are just plopping players into an arena to fight Bad Guy #2389730, then I really dont see the appeal. Especially when MH has an arena mode on top of regular hunting/capture quests already.
@BertoFlyingFox if i recall God Eater tryed to do the multiple aria thing but the inviroments were very dull also if i recall from the Vita demo of the original of Toukiden it did have multiple locations per map dunno about being able to capter the monsters/demonds or not
