You'll be doing the kind of things that you'd expect in Just Cause 3, as this gameplay trailer shows protagonist Rico Rodriguez engaging in a spot of explosive sky diving. According to developer Avalanche Studios, all of the footage here is taken directly from the game – it's just using cinematic camera angles. To be honest, we can believe it – but a hearty helping of scepticism is necessary in this current industry climate.
There's also word of a pre-order bonus, which includes several armoured vehicles – including a speed boat. We're all for injecting a dose of Twisted Metal into the sandbox, but it's a shame that the studio's holding these maniacal means of transport hostage. Then again, we suppose that this is the state of the industry today – and you could always purchase Mad Max if you want gun-toting cars out of the box.

Day one for me
For me Mad Max is the more likely purchase. I got bored very quickly of Just Cause 2 - go to area, destroy everything, move to next area and repeat
Think you forgot to post the gameplay trailer Sammy!?
@Dodoo It's there for me? Or are you referring to the fact that it doesn't look like there's any gameplay in there?! XD
If you're referring to the latter, Avalanche is saying this is all gameplay with fancy camera cuts. Yeah, not sure I believe it either.
@get2sammyb Yeah it's there. Was referring to it looking like it was lacking gameplay footage...!
Looks really good. Same old concept but that's what makes the franchise it's own thing. Looking forward to this and Mad Max
Yes please, looks like the Devs haven't changed much in just cause 3...which, in this case, is a very good thing.
@get2sammyb @Dodoo i believe this is game play though i also believe that the star wars battlefront game play is from a cinematic angle to im probably just getting played by these big aaa companies though
Never played the first two of the series but this trailer and me being hungry for a new game to play I will be certainly getting this one.
