Summer Lesson, the Project Morpheus-powered studying simulation from Bandai Namco's industrious Tekken team, appears to have ditched the creepy schoolgirl aspect of its original reveal – opting instead for a sunny experience in which you'll spend time in an idyllic holiday home with the girl of your dreams. Still a bit weird, then – but we have a sneaking suspicion that it'll sell.
This brand new trailer released for E3 2015 is a fist-pumping affair, as the hot panted protagonist pulls out her acoustic guitar and performs some powerpop amid sunflowers and crashing waves. It's looking a lot more Western these days, which makes us think that it's probably going to end up being a real game. It's also on display at Sony's booth this week.

Wow that's gotta be the cheesiest soundtrack of all time!
She looks like she's from Dead or Alive. Well, not... not like that. But you know what I mean.
Why is it that when it comes to new pieces of hardware like this, developers suddenly forget how to make proper games and work on something like this...? Holiday, really?
I'm guessing we don't actually study in this game...10/10 will buy. I didn't really study much anyways.
@finalstan These are still just tech demos, I don't expect full blown games just yet.
I honestly wonder what this is going to end up being, this much change seems to be a bit weird for a tech demo, as when we last saw would work just fine for a simple tech demo. Out of simple curiosity as to how it ends up, I'll be keeping my eye on it.
Saw this earlier. Here you have it, hang out with a virtual babe game.
as I always say this is the only title that has me half interested in Morpheus... As I said before, if this is what team Tekken came up with I can wait to see what Team Ninja will do once they get a hold of a morpheus development kit
I don't really want to spend money to cocktease myself. I feel like this kind of virtual waifu thing will take off a lot more on PC, just like how eroge in general have.
It does make me realise that there'll be some pretty immersive/overwhelming moments in JRPGs - like the Gold Saucer date section of FFVII but in VR. You're standing there waiting for your date to turn up, will it be Tifa, Yuffie or Aeris? All of a sudden the screen starts to rhythmically jolt, your body joins the same beat as your DS4 goes wild in your hands, dust and light fixtures start falling from the ceiling and screaming crowds flee, and amidst all this chaos Barret strides around the corner one explosive step at a time, wearing his sailor suit and a blush on his face.
Oh god, or the Honeybee Inn part in Morpheus. Argh.
Watch the language -Tasuki-
