And that, as they say, is the end of that. This author's summer holiday is over, which means that it's back to the coal face for your regularly prescribed dose of Push Rewind. To be perfectly honest with you, it's nice compiling these after some time away, as it offers an excuse to catch up on all of the news. Here we go...

Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition - 8/10
Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition is a great enhancement to an already solid entry in the series. Adding in Vergil, Lady, and Trish as playable characters provides a ton of fun, and the new Legendary Dark Knight Mode is an engaging new challenge for veterans of the series. Demon hunting newcomers will likely enjoy everything on offer, while more experienced action connoisseurs will find more than enough reason to return to the franchise. However, this is still Devil May Cry 4 at its core, so the same questionable design decisions that were in effect back in 2008 still remain. That being said, the remaster's still a great buy for its budget price tag, and a must-own for any hack and slash fanatic.
J-Stars Victory VS+ - 7/10
An accessible and ultimately enjoyable brawler, J-Stars Victory VS+ may not hold the attention of dedicated fighting fans for long, but it's sure to provide plenty of entertainment for those that are interested in the included manga and anime franchises. A solid character roster coupled with some eye-catching combat is what this beat-'em-up is all about – even if it could afford to take some more risks, given the wealth of source material on offer.

First Impressions: Our First 50 Hours with The Elder Scrolls Online on PS4
That's right, we've played The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited for just a little over 50 hours now, so we thought that it was about time to get some impressions published. Being a massively multiplayer online game, it's safe to say that there's an absolute ton of things to see and do in ZeniMax Online Studios' huge adventure - and that's exactly what you want from an Elder Scrolls title.
Poll: Which Batman: Arkham Game Is the Best?
That's right, we're going to ask that question - a question that has divided the gaming community ever since Batman: Arkham City launched all the way back in 2011. Which Batman: Arkham game is the best? It's safe to say that Batman: Arkham Asylum exceeded all expectations when it released in 2009, and the aforementioned sequel received equally impressive praise. Many enjoy the original's more focussed narrative, while others feel that Arkham City hones what is already solid gameplay into something really special.

July's Free PlayStation Plus Games Include Rocket League and Entwined on PS4
Uh oh, we can already hear people grabbing their pitchforks. The PlayStation Plus games selection for July has been revealed, and, well, there's not a Knack to be found. Joking aside, this month's batch of free titles includes the super fun Rocket League, and the rather gorgeous Entwined on PlayStation 4. The latter is available on Vita, too.
The PS4 Is Absolutely Destroying the Competition in Europe
Sony's always done incredibly well in Europe with its home consoles - that much we know - but we didn't realise just how well its latest system, the PlayStation 4, is doing over here in the Old World. "Well, we have market leadership in every country in Europe, and have very significant market leadership in continental Europe. Extremely significant. I don't think market share's any less than 70%, and frequently greater than 90% in continental Europe," Sony's Jim Ryan told VG247.
Oh Look, It's a Nintendo PlayStation Console
Fridays are usually pretty quiet when it comes to games journalism, probably because everyone just wants to start the weekend early and, actually, you know, play some video games for once. Apparently, though, a poster over on ASSEMbler didn't get the memo, as they've revealed the existence of an actual Nintendo PlayStation console that they own.
Fallout 4's Boston Is Dense with No Loading Screens
Director Todd Howard has spilled some interesting beans on Fallout 4 via an interview with Digital Spy. In it, the Bethesda development lead mentions that the post-apocalyptic adventure will have '"no load", referring to how seamless parts of the game's open world will be.
PlayStation Plus Is 5 Years Old Today, and Lasting Members Are Getting a Gift
If you've been a member of PlayStation Plus since the very beginning, then just take a moment to think about all of those games that you've downloaded thanks to the service. We can barely remember which titles were available this month, never mind five years ago, but one things for sure: that's a lot of gaming.

What i dont understand is that if sony has always had it good in Europe then why dont we get the great deals sony US gets?
@Shadowdillon92 Maybe they feel they have to try harder in the US? I dunno, I think the grass will always look greener on the other side. The reality is probably that both sides of the Atlantic get good and bad deals.
SCEE should copy the Flash Sales, though - they're really good.
I think Sammy's right, with Microsoft having had the better foothold here with the previous gen 360 console, the U.S became the "hot girl in the room"...lol.
That's also why we got the console launched here in the U.S first. Their trying to shake up the "core base" that Microsoft has established here in the U.S as well as the rest of North America.
New customers means more money, and Sony knows that Microsoft had the jump on them here in North America last generation and for the longest lasting console generation at that. Some of these kids over here were young at the start of the 360 console and grew up and went to collage playing the 360. That is a tough nut to crack as far as brand loyalty.
If Microsoft hadn't gotten greedy at the launch of this current generation, I honestly think that even if Sony had kicked out something "even better" than the current PS4, I still think Sony would be trying to play catch up to Microsoft here in the U.S this generation, simply because of that loyalty.
With Microsoft being a "U.S Corporation" and the only "Major console manufacturer" outside of Japan, it only makes "strategic" sense to fight the "harder fight" on your competitors "home ground" than on "foreign soil" and Sony knows it, and believe me Microsoft knows it too, it was that way last generation, and it's even "more so" this gen.
I'll be surprised if it doesn't get nastier over here in the U.S between Microsoft and Sony, seeing as this is Microsoft's home turf. They're playing there "own strategy game" except it's on a "real life" global scale and Sony's trying to put their foot through Microsoft's front door.............and that front door is located here in the U.S...
