One of the new features added as part of PlayStation 4 firmware update v3.10 is the ability to follow developers and high-profile PlayStation employees. For a while now, these high-fliers have been represented on the system by a tick next to their name – but now you can follow them so that all of their activities will show up in your What's New panel.
1. Pick Someone to Follow
Before you can follow anyone, you're going to need to know their username. Once you have this information, open the friends utility from the main menu screen, and search for them using their PlayStation Network ID. Their profile should pop up.
2. Select the Follow Option
Click on their profile and you'll find a new option labelled 'Follow'. Select it to follow them, and all of their activities will be added to your What's New panel. You can track who you're following via the friends utility. To unfollow someone, simply visit their profile again, and uncheck the 'Follow' button.

I have Adam Boyes on my friend's list, SPOILERS: He's always playing Destiny.
That Shu profile picture gives me the creeps.
@get2sammyb is there a list or something that we can use to find out the user names of the people we want to follow? Or is it more a case of search by real name for the person you want and find the profile with the tick to verify it?
It would be good if they did implement a feature to just give you a list of all the verified people and who they work for, as there are almost definitely people I'd like to follow if it was suggested to me, but that I wouldn't think to look up on my own!
@SteveButler2210 I was going to include a little list of some notable names in this article, but didn't really want them to get a load of spam.
yosp is Shuhei Yoshida
dabooya is Adam Boyes
DrUckmann is Neil Druckmann
@adf86 - that picture makes me think of the line from the song White Rabbit, "Feed your head"!!
@get2sammyb @SteveButler2210 if you wanna look for more devs n such go through Adam Boyes friend list
@get2sammyb Thanks! I searched his full name getting nothing, was like "dafuq"
Neil that is.
@get2sammyb Thank you, couldn't find Druckmann yesterday.
The best way to find verified accounts is to search for one, such as Shu Yoshida or Mark Cerny, and then use their friends list, which tends to contain several other verified users, to add more.
