Mark Cerny is a busy man, but it seems that he still finds time to play the odd game. The new follow feature on the PlayStation 4 has proven a godsend for those who like to stalk their favourite gaming executives and have a nosy at their Trophies. And our very own Ben Potter noticed one pleasing tidbit while perusing the abovementioned architect's gongs: he got the Platinum in Knack.

Now we're well aware that there are a contingent of readers out there that enjoyed the Japan Studio developed throwback, but others have been less kind about the boring brawler. Either way, it looks like Cerny was pretty earnest when he said that he liked the game – then again, he did direct the darn thing.

Im on my 6th playthrough, abaolutely enjoyed the game, sure, story was...eh. Mechanics were the simplest, and overall it wasnt a good game. But i did enjoy it. Enough to play it a ton. No platinum though.

I really liked Knack. I never got the Platinum trophy I tend to chase the next new game more then trophies.Hmmm I may revisit Knack its been a long time.

I actually found this game fun. I played through it once, and went back to play through the second time, but there were too many other games coming out that I wanted to play, and ended up putting it away for a while. I really hope that there's a sequel, but I doubt there will be.

I like Mark Cerny and he clearly does love games, so I'm not saying this is what happened here, but I'm pretty sure Sony can just unlock trophies at the click of a button so technically Shu could make a profile where he's platinumed every single game possible in about 2 minutes.

I wonder if devs can link their unreleased games to PSN before launch and get trophies while they playtest? Even more likely when they may be testing out trophy functionality.

I don't understand the hate on knack. It was such a beautiful game. Imaginative story, beautiful colourful graphics and it was a nice change. Admittedly the gameplay was a little funky but I loved it so much I also got the platinum trophy! I really hope they make a sequel because I think there is potential in knack.
