One of those games that feels like it's been hanging around the in background for decades, it's finally time for Tom Clancy's The Division to step into the light and show us what it's capable of. Eagle-eyed publication WCCFTech noticed that the Uplay mobile app outs the public beta's launch window - and the good news is that you don't have long to wait.
The stress test will go live on PlayStation 4 at some point later this month, although an exact date and time hasn't been officially confirmed just yet. To actually get into the beta, you'll need to pre-order the game, which is still due to release on the 8th March.

Yesterday's trailer release, really re sparked my hype for this game.
Already pre-ordered and ready to fight on Beta via the PSN......
Nope. It truly looks awful to me. Another uninteresting dead Ubisoft world. No thanks.
Day one for me, it's only £40 from zavvi and gameseek so I'll probably throw some money at a pre order this weekend.
I like the use of grey scale colours they use in this game. I estimate over 7 million different shades of grey went into making it
On a serious note, I'll wait to see how the SP has been handled before buying.
I used to be hyped for the game. If the beta was open to everyone I might have given it a chance. I'm tired of having to preorder things in order to try it.
@JesWood13 having a closed beta will only have one possible outcome for pre orders, cancellations. Those shut out from the beta aren't suddenlybgoing to pre order but those that have might try it and take a pass.
If players can stream the beta it will get interest from those not able to play the game
Pre ordered and pretty excited, people in the UK will pre order and then cancel after the Beta free of charge like they did R6V, i'm not sure about other countrie's but I heard you can't do that in the US once you preorder you are commited, I mean the PS store ofc. I never pre order anywhere else I don't see the point game's are generally around the £40 mark from Asda anyway if I wanted a physical copy.
Yep Pre ordered this in November 2014, all paid up and waiting now! Hopefully get into the beta and rock this!!
i didn't even preorder it got a key in a give away last year
I want to look forward to this I really do. But Ubisoft has become so high on my dissapointed games list that I think I might pass. The last Ubisoft game I found myself enjoying completely was black flag. Far cry 4 was beautiful and fun, especially finally being able to bring a friend into the world, but even that felt just short of greatness, mainly that once I spent hours in my friends world, doing things together, then finding I had to do it all over again in my world was heartbreaking. If preordering on Amazon gets me beta access I will do it, and hopefully it impresses me. I want it to, badly, but just can't ignor the Ubisoft part of it.
@xMEADx You can cancel a preorder in games top at any time before release. Pretty sure best buy works the same way.
@Bad-MuthaAdebisi basically, what that says is...
"Hey! we want people to try our game! I know, we'll make them pay he full price before the get the game"
They don't realize the hype died down a long time ago. It's ok some companies gotta learn the hard way.
I'm pretty sure the Beta will do fine there is still plenty of hype, there was no hype for the R6V or BO3 and those betas and game's did fine. @ Sonyinfinity that's good then, the more people in the beta the better ofc, it baffle's me why they put restriction's on beta's unless it has something to do with the testing the server's it may keep the number's more manageable. Also they will probobly make it open to everyone the last few day's like BO3 did (hopefully). Just edited to say i'm with everyone else btw, if they tried to force me to buy the game to play the beta like they seem to in other countrie's I wouldn't participate either and would be really annoyed.
@wittypixel I didn't think anywhere actually charged you for the game before it released? Certainly in the UK you don't pay until it comes out, which means a few people will pre-order just for the beta and then if they like the beta probably will keep the pre-order.
I'm not hyped about the game, I need to know more about it and the beta is a good opportunity for me to do so and then make a decision.
This is WatchDogs all over again. I'm telling you.
I am interested in this title...I NEED it to be good...My mates and me are done with Destiny for some time now, and we need a game that we can all enjoy together!
That said, it's Ubi....Ubi and online don't mix very well....plus indeed, we haven't forgotten Watch_Dogs....so while interested, very carefull not to get too excited.
I enjoyed Watch Dogs but thats beside the point.
@mrobinson91 Some websites in the UK charge for games when you make the preorder which has stopped me buying from them. But the larger online retail stores charge you when the game is sent out.
I do not know much about this game but will probably get it.
