Toukiden 2 popped up at Sony's Tokyo Game Show last year, but we've heard very little since. We know that it's going to adapt an open world approach, and we're big fans of Toukiden: The Age of Demons and semi-sequel Toukiden: Kiwami, so needless to say, we're looking forward to seeing more of the next release.
Fortunately, we may not have to wait too long for fresh information, as Koei Tecmo has unveiled a Japanese teaser website. The site currently displays a message that says "The 'demon' was released to the outside—", as translated by Gematsu. Apparently, we're getting one message per day until the site opens in full. Don't you just love it when publishers do stuff like this?

Still no dynasty warriors 9
Really interested to see how the open world system works. I wonder if Capcom will follow suit and implement it into their future Monster Hunter games as well if it gets a positive feedback from the players.
Also, having a more in depth character creation this time around would be nice since the first one was pretty basic.
@darkswabber Announced this year for sure.
@ShogunRok Hi, I found this link: http://gematsu.com/2016/02/toukiden-2-seamless-battles-shield-sword-weapon
Apparently, the sequel will have a day and night cycle as well.
I need to get back to Kiwami soon, been starting to get the itch to dig back in. Just need to finish clean up on a few games.
@WanderingBullet Yeah, it sounds pretty good doesn't it? I was going to do an article based on that information but I decided to wait until we hear more. I suspect when this official website opens we'll get an info blowout and probably a trailer.
So is the first anything like Monster Hunter/ Dynasty Warriors? If so I should really pick it up, haven't played on my Vita in months!
Awesome. Toukiden: Kiwami is one of my go to games when I have nothing "new" to play. That said it's a trophy hunters nightmare. Very grindy...
@ShogunRok Sure does. They could reduce the visibility or make certain demons to only appear during the night or even more powerful for that matter.
@Patinator It's like Monster Hunter but more accessible I would say.
Awesome news!
