Isn't there a Muse song where Matt Bellamy wails about time running out? Never was a fan, but your host can't get that track out of his head now. Anyway, as promised, Aksys Games has announced that the third entry in the Zero Escape series, Zero Time Dilemma, will launch on the PlayStation Vita from 28th June in North America and Europe. It'll be available both physically and digitally in the States, while those of you across the Atlantic will need to make some space on your memory cards.
To celebrate the announcement, the publisher's also released an all-new trailer, which looks a bit like if Saw had babies with a bad anime film. With the Vita barely getting any big games these days, though, it's cool that this is happening at all.

Not a fan of the series then Sammy? Or have you even played the preceding titles before?
Not to trample on your opinion or anything, but considering at one point not long ago it was looking like this series was going to go unfinished, I for one am very happy it's getting some closure.
I can't be the only fan looking forward to this, so maybe this is one time where a more neutral editorial stance should have been used. Just a thought.
@RawShark I know people are hyped for it, I just didn't really think it was a very good trailer personally. I'm sure the game will be great.
It has a bit of the Danganronpa vibe to it, weird that they'd change the art style, the previous one was quite nice. Regardless, I love these types of games, and mine is already pre-ordered.
Can't wait.
Second most anticipated game after Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue
I love this series. I'll be picking this up on 3DS, cause I don't have a Vita.
@DualWielding what about KH3 or are you talking about 2016 titles
@NomNom Actually the art style in the previous game was the one aspect I had the most gripes with. It went from weirdly basic and emotionless CG characters with stock animations to still images of the the same models, and then to hand drawn images at the drop of the hat. It's clearly done with a low budget and I should think this game (with the problems it had getting funding) will probably have a similar cheapish feel.
But I don't think fans of the game really care - the story and concepts for the last two games were fantastic. It's amazing how much tension can be built with so little.
@get2sammyb I guess that's the problem with dubs - they are pretty hit and miss. Oddly, Virtue's Last Reward only had the Japanese dub in the EU, so for the sake of consistency that's probably what I'd opt for (if it's an option this time around). It's a great series - I highly recommend checking out 999 Doors on a DS if you can track it down.
I didn't mean to come across so critical (although reading back my comment it certainly did). But as you say, Vita releases are few and far between these days so it's nice to have a game worth getting excited about.
Cannot wait for this! One of my favorite series
So happy they decided to make this, loved the last game on Vita. Surprised it's coming out so soon.
@RawShark It's all good, thanks for the feedback!
Looks like I will be importing this release, just like I did with VLR. As the EU version did not contain any English VA, I hate it when games aren't English dubbed, as I usually prefer the actors and this looks and sounds great in English.
@SKC_Diamond yah I meant for 2016, Kingdom Hearts 3 not coming out on 2016
It's easily the most exciting release of 2016 for me. 999 and VLR were both incredible, and I expect no less from this.
Visual style kind of gives it a Telltale vibe, though.
