After what felt like an eternity of wondering what Sony's Bend Studio was up to, fans were finally treated to the reveal trailer of Days Gone at Sony's E3 2016 press conference. Rumours pointed to the game being called Dead Don't Ride and after watching the reveal trailer it's easy to understand why. The game's protagonist is a biker and is featured riding his motorcycle heavily throughout the trailer. It's also implied that the world has been overrun by the undead, which explains the "Dead" part of the assumed title. Sony trademarked the title back in January of this year, so it appears the real title had been under our noses the entire time.

Probably the game that was the biggest surprise and takes the best 'new' IP and new reveal of E32016... Impressive - this had the Horizon:Zero Dawn factor of last years E3
Definitely! Love the World War Z zombies. Totally impressed!
Looks awful. TLOU: Biker Edition.
Im interested, gotta see more first
I'm beyond excited for this!! It was so confusing at first, because it looked like a Naughty Dog game and the vibe I was getting from the trailer made me think it was some sort of The Last of Us sequel/prequel, haha. This will be pretty interesting, Sony having two survival IPs.
@Ralizah So it is great for me I guess.
World War Z: The Video Game
A little bored of zombies but that bike is badass so definitely keen to see more.
I wasn't interested until I saw this, it's definitely got me interested. Would liked to have seen some gameplay and not just an introduction video.
It looks good, but I'm not 100% sold on the idea just yet.
To be honest was a little underwhelmed by this. I really hope it succeeds, but on first impressions its difficult not to compare it to The Last of Us, whether or not it actually deserves to be or not...
Is the main actor Sam Witwer? Anyway, I liked what I saw but will want to see the gameplay first. I get an open world feel from it.
I love it.way better than that resident evil vr stuff.first person resident evil .that's not what people want
Talk about a Zombie overkill, looks cool though.
In the first trailer I thought it was a biker version of tlou, but the ending gameplay trailer was fantastic, day one for me.
a little underwhelming for me... Too tire of post-apocalyptic zombie setting...
And Bend didn't show me anything unique to their version.
