There's no denying it: E3 is about chest-beating more than anything else. The fact that Sony's released a sizzle trailer proclaiming that the best games are on the PlayStation 4 is not all that surprising, then – and it's difficult to argue with its point. From the exclusives like God of War and Horizon: Zero Dawn to the biggest third-party titles and indies, the Japanese giant sure has a helluva selection. The future's bright!

My last PS console was a PS2, first slim model, years and years ago, now I'm back with PS4 and I love so much that I'll buy a PSVITA just because.
To me PS4 and 3DS family is the best thing from this generation.
@Frank90 What's kept you away so long? PS3 had a slow start but ended up an amazing console as well.
There are better more appropriate ways to describe your excitement -Tasuki-
@get2sammyb Last gen I played mainly on PC and on Wii U. And I have to say, PC never again. Specially with exclusives like the ones from PS4.
Looking at the 'exclusives' that MS has (after all both have the third party games and so both technically have the 'best' of those) and comparing it to those on PS4 taking only the games shown during E3, I would actually have to agree!
Its 'possible' that MS may have 1-2 more games that I want (or would consider) BUT Sony's games are the games I want to play more. Horizon is my most wanted Exclusive closely followed by Days Gone after that game-play. Spider-Man and the Crash trilogy are not too far behind those. The E3 show almost had me wanting the new GoW game too....
Yes I want Gears4, FH3, Scalebound, DR4, HW2 etc noneas much as H:ZD and DG....
@BAMozzy Don't forget now that first party titles are on Windows 10, there is much less reason to get an Xbox One then ever.
God of war .and days gone for me
@Link41x Absolutely disagree!! It means that you have a choice between a gaming PC or Xbox for your gaming System. I don't want a gaming PC, don't have space to set up a decent gaming Rig (yes I know you can plug them into a TV, have wireless Keyboard/mouse, use controllers - but that defeats the purpose of buying a PC if all you are going to do is use it as a 'console' )
I am happy that MS are offering cross-play/buy in this way. It opens up the user base base - meaning that I can play games like Gears4, Forza Horizon etc with a greater variety of people online and far greater chance that I won't have connection issues, put in lobbies with Europeans and Americans - not that I have an issue with people from these areas but I only speak English and would rather play with more local gamers because Lag and Ping affects the quality of the game.
MS have a commitment to and vested interest in both PC and Console gamers - by offering these games to both, they are not favouring one group over another and actually unifying the game space. Instead of 20+m console gamers and 'x'm PC gamers, MS are now catering to a lot more and bringing both together. Titanfall for example lost so many gamers and by the time the third DLC dropped, it was virtually unplayable because of the small player base on each platform - if they were combined, then this game would still be playable.
Just because these games are now on PC does not make those who prefer to pay on console suddenly rush out and buy a PC. For those on PS or Nintendo consoles, they have a choice to buy a PC or Xbox if they want to play these games too - they are not forced into buying an Xbox for example or if they already have a gaming PC, the opportunity to buy and play these games - It makes no difference to them if you buy on PC or Xbox - its a sale regardless.
I agree that if you own a gaming PC, then their is little reason to buy an Xbox, although you may still want to for the kids or a second room as all games are cross buy - buy it once and get it for PC and Xbox. Buying digital you effectively get it for 2 consoles so you could buy FH3 for example and game with your partner or kids - one on PC and one on Console...
I think it is clear is that with a few exceptions, the titles that excited most were first party games for Sony and that is actually a really big thing. It is why I moved to PS4 for this generation. I mean, Spiderman, Resi Evil, new Kojima, Days Gone, God of War, Horizon etc. Bethesda, Ubisoft, EA just don't compare this year.
