Surreal horror game Get Even was announced eons ago for the PlayStation 4, and finally appears to be ready for primetime. Developed by Polish firm The Farm 51 in collaboration with Bandai Namco, the game – when it was originally announced in 2014 at least – promised to blend single player and multiplayer into one distorted game world. There's no word on whether that's still the aim.
"Creating immersion through an unparalleled dive into 3D acoustics thanks to the support of the cutting-edge Auro-3D technology from Auro Technologies, Get Even challenges you to question your understanding of justice and reality," the press release reads. "What is real? Your understanding of the past, is what will shape the outcome of your future."
It's all a bit ambiguous at the moment, then, but the Gamescom 2016 announcement trailer at least starts to set the surreal scene. This will apparently break free in Spring 2017, so we're sure that Bamco will reveal lots more in the lead up to release. In the meantime, scream where no one can hear you in the comments section below.

Interesting premise, but the trailer doesn't do much for me.
Good teaser. Now to see some game play.
Seems like they have an original core concept..the zombies in the trailer are a huge put-off for me, though. Enemies charging at the player in a straight line? C'mon!!! Put some effort into the A.I.
Oh it's the title...how weird! Everybody wants to be Silent Hills now.
And MAN how annoying is this dial-up connection sound through the trailer.!!
Huh. Seems intriguing, will keep an eye on this one. Seems that 2 years of silence might be troubling though.
