Feature: 10 TGS 2016 Trailers You Must Watch

Sadly, the Tokyo Game Show is not the attraction that it once was. Sony brought lots to last week's Japanese convention, but the reality is that the Japanese games industry is no longer pumping out big games to the degree that it has in the past. Still, we did get a handful of trailers for major Eastern releases, and we figured that we'd compile them into article in case you missed anything.

PS4 Montage

Okay, it's not an individual game, but this is probably the best montage that PlayStation's ever put out. And let's not forget: Sony is no slouch when it comes to these kinds of trailers.

Final Fantasy XV

Final Fantasy XV must hold some kind of record for Tokyo Game Show trailers. It's a good thing the latest one is worth watching, eh?

Gravity Rush 2

The sing-song nature of this Gravity Rush 2 clip didn't resonate with all of our commenters, but we reckon that Kat's latest is looking bang in tune.

Horizon: Zero Dawn

It may be composed of clips that we've seen before, but Horizon: Zero Dawn sounds oddly compelling in Japanese – especially considering the English voice acting doesn't sound all that great.

New Hot Shots Golf

Clap your hands – it's a Clap Hanz party. New Hot Shots Golf was on display at TGS 2016 last week, showcasing its open world-esque arcade sports action. Nice shot!

Nioh

A decade after being announced, Nioh has a global release date. Koei Tecmo's Souls-inspired samurai title will release early next year.

Resident Evil 7

Who doesn't enjoy a thanksgiving dinner of entrails and other meaty monstrosities? That's what the Bakers are scoffing in this Resident Evil 7 trailer. Delicious!

Summer Lesson

The game that will sell a million PlayStation VR headsets in Japan: Summer Lesson sees you hanging out with a virtual hottie. You're there to teach her stuff, apparently. There's no word on what's on the curriculum just yet.

Tekken 7

Fists are flying in this Tekken 7 trailer. It may not reveal anything new about Bandai Namco's upcoming brawler, but Heihachi's hair is looking as dramatic as ever.

World of Final Fantasy

With a trailer so sweet that it'll give you toothache, World of Final Fantasy's latest clip is approved by everyone except your dentist.
