It's usually around this stage in the generation that box art gets completely murdered by superfluous logos, and between PlayStation VR and the new PlayStation 4 Pro, the Japanese giant is planning to make a right old mess. Games Radar reports that titles enhanced by Sony's new hardware – which should, we must stress, end up being all of them – will be graced with a new icon sharing the news.
This seems like a marketing trick more than helpful information; the manufacturer's probably banking on unassuming shoppers asking stressed store clerks what the PS4 Pro logo refers to. Hopefully it gets relegated to the back of the cases soon after launch, because as already alluded, there should come a time in the not-too distant future when all titles are enhanced by the supercharged system.

People are stupid these days so as ugly add it may be... It is NEEDED!
Elitism haha
Also Sony said it is upto developers in how they utilise the system so surely not every game will be upgraded.
@viciousarcanum If it literally does nothing else, it should be able to brute force sturdier framerates. But yes, mileage will vary, though I suspect in the long-run consumer tastes will shape the kind of options devs add.
I think Rise of the Tomb Raider sounds like it's doing a great job.
Greatest Huts
Platinum Hits
Best Seller
Million Seller
Player's Choice
Nintendo Selects
I do not and will not buy a game with any of the above on the case. My gaming collection is 100% marketing-free original cases. Now, I don't mind Game of the Year editions provided they're not "Platinum Hits" or whatever else also.
I go digital more times than not so doesn't effect me.

So true, and I'm so looking forward to it. /s
Uhhh.... * sighs*
'Better with Kinect'
meh who cares how many logos are on the box, i play the games NOT sit looking at the box for hours on end and does it really matter what it looks like now a days, maybe in the 90's where the box sold you the game but now, with the internet you know what the game will look and play like MONTHS in advance
lets face it the box art is the LEAST important thing for a game now, hell with so many people going digital it's even LESS relevant now that what it used to be
besides when it's on your shelf you won't even be able to see them anyway
I must be the only person who stacks the PS4 games so I only see the spine of the title. What the box art looks like is irrelevant as long as I can see the name of the game then the box has done its job.
