Hot off the heels of the debut trailer for Red Dead Redemption 2, PlayStation has announced a partnership with Rockstar that will make the trip to the Wild West even better for PlayStation 4 owners.
The PlayStation Blog states: "We are pleased to announce that PS4 players get first access to earn select online content in the vast open world of Red Dead Redemption 2." The post also reveals that the aforementioned trailer was captured on a PS4.
In addition to this, the original Red Dead Redemption will be making its way to PlayStation Now in the future.
What else could this partnership bring to PlayStation 4 players? PS4 Pro enhancements? PlayStation VR support? Let us know what you'd like to see in the comments below.

Huge get for Sony.
They talk about a "new online experience" . I really liked the way I could just go online with my group of friends in Redemption 1 and not have to worry about trolls joining the group . I hope that we can still have private free roam .
Grats on being beta testers for the online! That and some early access to DLC, that's about it.
I wonder what we will see with this partnership.
Hopefully not exclusive dlc you have to pay for.
Big GET for Sony. PS4 Pro support for sure, don't know about VR. What would they even do, a VR Cattle Herding mission ?
Just give me RDR on PS4 no enhancements needed.
Will we get a bonus disc called The Agent?
Sony know how to get big third party titles, from destiny to watchdog to call of duty to this, can't wait to play this on my ps4 pro next year
I can play Red Dead 1 on xbox one and actually own it.
@waluigifan1
I assume you mean Red Dead Revolver, in which case so can we.

@FaultyDroid Sorry for confusion. Red Dead Redemption is playable o Xbox one. Red Dead Revolver is a Ps2 Classic.
@Chunky_Droid This is about more than that, though. It's about every commercial for RDR2 including the PS4 branding, which is huge.
Next year, Destiny 2, Call of Duty 2017, and Red Dead Redemption will all be PlayStation branded. There's a good chance Battlefront 2 will be as well.
That's huge.
Good to see the relationship between Sony and Rockstar is still a good one. Wonder if the playstation branding for RDR2 is meant to replace the supposed exclusove title they were going to make for Playstation? Or maybe Sony offered to take them off the hook for Agent in exchange for RDR2 being branded as playstation?
Gu7nna be a mess of a game if Sony get involved.
I am ridiculously excited for Red Dead 2. I played through the first like 6 times
