Video: Wrapping Up Warm with the Steep Open Beta on PS4

I played it for about 20 minutes, its quite a bit of fun but I'm not sure how quickly I might tire of it. Definitely releasing it at the right time of year.

@Bad-MuthaAdebisi Hmmm i'm not sure as it is a new IP which has to compete with more established franchises for christmas sales. Looks awesome though, the idea is very fresh, and i have been holding off on playing the open beta as to keep it that way when i buy the full game with my HMV Vouchers i get for christmas.

Big fan of ssx so glad this is coming out.

I watched it on Twitch felt like a free to play game.

Does it have offline single player?

Really good fun to play, especially with a couple of friends...Might get a bit "samey" but ssx was guilty of that too....and the person that said they "watched it on twitch and it looked like a free to play game" why not try downloading it?...it really is fun and nothing like f2p at all

As a skier, I really enjoyed it. It's one of those games that I could see myself jumping into for the odd hour here and there with Spotify on. I'd like it as a PS Store purchase so I don't have to mess around putting a disc in but I'm kinda struggling to justify the £55 price those highway robbers at Sony want - Amazon has it for £42. Why do we continue to get ripped off by digital purchases?????

@Bhattiboy I love SSX (mostly Tricky), one of my all time favorite games, but I watched the video for Steep and it seems bland and boring. Like they took SSX, sucked all the life, color, and character from it, and called it Steep. Give me an SSX Tricky Remaster!

@JaxonH you can play offline. You won t see other people and I think you can't compete for events global record.

I like the way you can create your own events and then challenge your friends. I also team up with some random and we had fun competing on best score at the same event. It can also be played as relax game, put some music and go downhill at sunset. The sense of total freedom is amazing. I am a skier and a mountaineer and it kind of catch the essence of being in the wild. I tought I could get bored fast, but I was totally hooked, trying to beat my own scores again and again....

I'll probably get it when it comes out
