During the annual PlayStation Awards in Japan, the team behind the Dragon Quest Heroes series may have dropped a hint regarding a possible third game. As translated by Gematsu, director Tomohiko Sho basically said that there are plans in place for the future of the property, while producer Ryota Aomi jokingly told him to stop leaking important information.
A potential sequel comes as no real surprise given that Dragon Quest Heroes II shifted over 500,000 copies in Japan and Asia - not to mention that the game got a confirmed Western release date just last week. Here's hoping that the developer can continue to build upon what the action role-playing series has to offer.

Is it true that dq heroes 2 is open world?
I would love to see a Final Fantasy one though.
@AlejandroMora Kind of, the levels aren't totally open but they're way bigger and much more focused on exploration than those in the first game.
Can't say yet (if I like a 3rd game). DQH2 needs to be played first. I'll be a day one buyer when the game gets released over here.
