Wow, it looks like it really is happening, then. BioWare has confirmed that Mass Effect: Andromeda will indeed be launching early 2017. The Canadian developer says that the sci-fi adventure will land in North America on the 21st March and in Europe on the 23rd March, so we don't have long to wait.
With the date relatively close, we should be seeing much more of Andromeda over the next couple of months. Are you ready to enter orbit? Engage your mass effect drive in the comments section below.

So May, got it.
That was a lot sooner than I expected, if they hit that date
That's great! I'm excited about it. Hopefully they just haven't been showing a lot for the surprise factor.
@ShogunRok So in other words we have till may ton see and have anything to do with Robert. After that who knows when we will see him next ;P
Excited for this. Never played a ME, and I like the fact it's kind of crept up on me, even though it's been in development for ages. The lack of information we have about it so close to release is refreshing and intriguing. Of course, it could suck.
@WebHead wouldn't surprise me.
Curious to so how it will turn out. Years ago basically any news of a new Bioware game had me exicted and confident it'll be great. After their recent streak I'm more cautious. Inquisition WAS a solid game but also a huge dissapointment, where the negatives (the MMO-type quests, collectibles, short main quest with a terrible story, choices and consequences) ultimately outweight the positives (some interesting characters, nice graphics, dragons).
I played a bit of a Mass Effect game on PS3 but it never really drew me in, having said that I'm definitely interested in giving this a go but it'll have to wait due to being sandwiched between Horizon and Persona 5 both of which I'll be getting at launch
I was ready for more Mass Effect several years ago and so pre-ordered this over 6 months ago now. March is looking like a big month with Horizon kicking things off and ME:A to follow. Should see me through the summers drought...
@kyleforrester87 I'd rather they underpromise and overdeliver on this one. Unlike a certain recent space exploration sandbox game that comes to mind (full disclosure: none of the vitriol leveled at THAT game really bothered me that much).
Gonna wait til June, i'll get it cheaper and most of the ironing out patches should be sorted by then
That's good news, I was sure it would get delayed. Man, Q1 will be showered with games.
Yeah Im a bit worried by the release date, it seems that only recently Bioware were promising to iron out the lip synching and rough edges. There's no way from that original clip they have sorted the issues out in this timescale. Hey ho, its still mass effect, and hopefully a return to the quality of ME 2 - but if this ends up being DA Inquisition in space, EA will be voted the most hated company on earth.
Wipeout and Mass Effect will be my preorders this year. I was dubious about ff15 and that was a fantastic game - hopefully ME4 will pull the same trick and be boss!
This is going to disappoint I think, I'll eventually grab it but it feels like it'll be slapped together like dragon age 2 based on the recent trailers.
I'll believe it when I see it. Not going to get bothered if it does get delayed either. Far too little has been shown for me to believe this will come out in March and be released in a good, working state.
Wasn't there supposed to be a gameplay reveal today as well?
Expect a delay me thinks, with Zelda, Horizion the Switch and god knows what else March is going to be one busy month.
It seems too good to be true but man I want it to be true!
