If you're up for some more free-to-play questing on PlayStation 4, then you're in luck, as Skyforge is heading to Sony's current-gen console this spring. The MMO has been available on PC for over a year now, and based on what we've seen of it, it looks like a solid enough role-playing experience. It boasts various player classes that you can switch between on the fly, and the combat is an action-based, fast-paced affair.
Hopefully, Skyforge will end up being as entertaining as other free-to-play efforts like Neverwinter, and while we realise that these types of games aren't going to be everyone's cup of tea, they can prove to be a nice distraction from your usual blockbusters - especially since you can give them a go without spending a penny.

Hmm, might give it a try but I have ESO and FFXIV to scratch my MMORPG itch.
Looks nice! I am still fighting the urge to restart playing XIV tbh.
Also, Phantasy Star Online 2, SEGA - pls ;_;
@Feena I'm with you on both things actually. I've sunk a lot of time into FFXIV on PC and PS4.
I think i would prefer the likes of PSO though. The chillout lobby and instance based missions are just what I want from an online mmo.
@LukeNI Couldn't agree more - You can hop online and actually play for 30 minutes -1 hour, not unlike fighting games. It doesn't claim your life...you can sink how much time you want on it but it doesn't demand it.
Added the announcement trailer to the article.
Looks interesting, but I already play waaay to much ESO
Kinda reminds me of Phantasy Star Online, I dig it.
I'll give it a try but FFXIV is so solid that I just can't get into any other MMO's because they pale in comparison.
when this comes out I'd be willing to take a spin and see if it catches my attention. It be nice to have a relaxed MMO to play once and a while.
Will be fun to take a look at for a bit. Liked Neverwinter until you got to max level and then the quests became repetitive.
