Bandai Namco's deployed your first look at Project CARS 2, which will release on the PlayStation 4 later this year as previously reported. The simulation sequel will build upon its predecessor, serving up over 170 licensed cars for you to commandeer, as well as revamped DualShock 4 handling and the "largest track roster of any console racing game ever".
The game's being built with eSports in mind, which means you'll find a robust suite of online championship options, and of course it will offer a wealth of improvements to the physics, including advanced road surface transitions and more. We're just hoping that the sequel doesn't feel quite as clinical as its predecessor, because the original was very cold.

I didn't enjoy the first one too much, but since it's a game with gold later this month, I suppose I'll give it another go.
Hopefully they make this version a lot more accessible.
I looked forward to the 1st one a lot but was very much disappointed. Nearly unplayable with a DS4, but it's biggest problem was the fact that it was developed for PC in the first place and consoles were kind of tacked on. Meaning there were tons of bugs and glitches in the console version that werent there in the PC version. I bought it day one but didn't pre-order so they also screwed me out of 5 cars (out of a pretty meager 50 in total).
All in all, I had some fun with it but eventually sold it after a couple of months as I felt the patches didnt do enough to fix it's problems.
I must be alone then as it handled well with the ds4 you just have to set it up as the stock settings were designed for wheels.. as long as the online community want to do some races that aren't just GT3 I'll be happy.. the original had over 60 circuits but the "community" just raced gt3 cars with about 10 circuits.. no love for the places like cadwell even finding people willing to play on brands hatch was a challenge.. will try it on the xbox this month hopefully those few people who own the console want to race something that isn't gt3 cars.
If they're smart, it'll be pushed into 2018. Still expect GT Sport this year and there's no reason to doubt another Forza is on the way.
If I get a a racer this year, it'll be Gran Turismo Sport and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, so I'll pass on this.
Whens GT Sport out - thats what we all want to know!
