We're not going to lie: we barely know anything about Dr. Fate. NetherRealm Studios is really digging deep into the DC Comics archives with Injustice 2, and it's emerged with Kent Nelson's alter-ego – at least, that's what Wikipedia told us about the character.
Y'know, we pride ourselves on adding value to each and every article that we publish here on Push Square – but there's nothing more we can write here. Dr. Fate, eh? He's a dude what was in a comic book once. Anyone care to help us out here?

That is an awesome and complete unexpected addition!
I'm afraid I don't know much about Doctor Fate either, but I'm actually glad more lesser known DC characters are getting a run in Injustice 2. Makes me want to learn more about them and maybe even read their books!
I only know Doctor Fate from his appearances in the Young Justice series. I bet DC fans are pretty excited about this announcement.
Dr. Fate is an extremely powerful member of Justice Society of America. His helmet contains the soul of an all knowing, prophetic and psychic Egyptian God but the person who wears the helmet becomes Dr. Fate but is tough on the vessel. Awesome character in general. He also has is own on going solo series that has run for about a year and a half now.

You dont have to dig too deep to know about dr. Fate. Just admit you dont read comics
