RiME is actually coming out, can you believe it? The intriguing Tequila Works title was first announced as a PlayStation 4 exclusive during a Sony press conference eons ago, but the platform holder eventually opted to drop the project, enabling a multiformat release. Of course, it's still coming to the Japanese giant's console, and you'll be able to play it starting 26th May.
The Team ICO-inspired title will be available both from the PlayStation Store and retail outlets, where it will cost $29.99/£29.99 – a pretty high price in our opinion. Are you willing to take a leap of faith on this purrdy puzzle platformer? Rub your eyes and realise that this is actually going to come out in the comments section below.

If it reviews well, I'll probably download it on the Switch. At this point, my PS4 is purely reserved for exclusives. Which means I still have a ton of games to buy for it. If we just had more survival horror games and JRPGs, it'd be the PS2 all over again. It's already miles better than the PS3 in terms of software built for the platform, though.
Sony have been quiet on their reason for dropping it as an exclusive. Alarm bells are ringing, they have a pretty good eye for snapping up the best, I'm scared!
@paradox32 There were rumours that they'd made no progress with it. Dunno how true they are seeing as it's finished now.
You think that's a high price. Should see on Switch @get2sammyb
@BLP_Software Saw it. New console tax innit.
Been looking forward to this since the original announcement.
Now... when can we expect more about WiLD?
Will wait for a sale, $30 seems a bit too much. Not sure if there is enough content to justify such a price.
Sony seem to have dropping a fair number of their indie exclusives in recent times. There was this, Wattam and What Remains of Edith Finch. That might be because Sony Santa Monica were producing a couple of these and maybe the studio needed more staff on GoW. Still it's curious though, wouldn't be surprised if WiLD was no longer exclusive too. Perhaps they don't want to continuing to fund games that keeps missing internal deadlines.
How ik €30 expensive?
Wow, a lot of games that you wouldn't expect like Outlast 2, Little Nightmares and now this are getting retail releases. I wonder if the price and the fact that they're getting retail releases will be justified. Anyway, that cover art is beautiful.
Box art look nice. Bit expensive though. I paid 37 for The Witness, but that was an amazing game. I think I may wait for the reviews if I can't find it cheaper than that..
