It seems as though BioWare has some steady plans in place for Mass Effect: Andromeda's multiplayer component, as GM Aaryn Flynn has revealed that the co-op portion of the release will be "just like Mass Effect 3". That supposedly means free downloadable content in the form of new maps, equipment, and characters, as well as continued support well past launch.
This is obviously pretty cool news for those who enjoyed Mass Effect 3's offering. Based on what we've heard so far, Andromeda is taking the stuff that its predecessor did right and building upon it, boasting more playable classes and more customisation. A beta test was meant to be taking place before release, but sadly, it was cancelled.

I never played a Mass Effect game. Will this have campaign coop?
@XFsWorld No, the core game is single player, but the co-op ties into the story, if that makes sense. It's not a vital part of it, but it's supposed to be happening while the campaign plays out.
@ShogunRok ok thanks!
