Sonic Mania Says Goodbye Spring, Hello Summer

The Year of Dreams™ has taken a temporary blow, as Sonic Mania has been pushed out of its Spring release window and into the Summer instead. It's only a matter of months, of course – and should result in an overall better product.

The delay was confirmed at SXSW earlier today, where SEGA also showed off the first footage of Flying Battery Zone in Sonic Mania as well as a few seconds of gameplay from the newly named Sonic Forces.

At least we're finally getting some Sonic on the PS4!!! Now, how about an ultimate collection that features the Genesis, Game Gear and Dreamcast titles...maybe even throw in the PC editions too...a nice big Sonic collection!!!
