A quick update on NieR: Automata's first piece of DLC: it'll deploy on 2nd May in North America and Europe, the same day as the content β named 3C3C1D119440927 β is set to release in Japan. The add-on pack includes new colloseums, quests, and costumes β including 2B's rather lovely looking backless dress.
You'll also be able to battle the CEO of Square Enix and boss of Platinum Games, which is a nice meta touch. There's more information through here.

Couldn't give a hoot about the costumes, I grew out of Barbie dolls in my teens, but can't wait for the rest of the new content. Are these colosseums accessed via the apologetic robot lifts?
Le gasp. The back of a female. Never seen that before. Or a woman for that matter /s
Still that's...an odd name for content isn't it? Is that what itll be listed as on the store?
@BLP_Software The demo is called DEMO 120161128, so probably.
@kyleforrester87 That ounds like a PS4 search function nightmare doesn't it? I mean...keep with the theme...I guess?
Hmm really torn between this, Resident Evil 7 or saving for Farpoint with the pointy pew pew gun. I can assure all that the cheeky new costume is not thaaat much of a deciding factor.
Nearly 41 hours in this game and I'm still not reaching the first ending. I really like the story, setting and the characters of the game, will buy this dlc as long as there's new/additional story like the drakengard 3 dlc.
@Rudy_Manchego Nier and Resi are both absolute class, one of thems my game of the year, I can't figure out which. What I would say is Nier has a pretty stonking demo that might help you decide. Also Resi 8 is a given... new Nier is a bit up in the air, so your purchase would help me get the sequel I want haha.
@kyleforrester87 Good shout on the demo, will get that downloaded tonight actually if I can find it. My head says Resi because I love the franchise and have a PSVR which I want to try. My heart says Nier because of the backless dr--- I mean unique storytelling mechanism. Plus I can buy trophies!
@Star-Lord To be honest I was put off Resi 7 by the demos. Actually I find most demos to be bad and put me off buying games. Nier was an exception, as was the MGS2 demo back in 2001. I can't think of many other demos that got me really hyped for a release!
@Rudy_Manchego I would personally play RE7 in VR if you haven't but if you're looking for length, Nier is the way to go. RE7 took me about 15 hours (I spent a lot of time just looking at the 3D environments, too.)
@Star-Lord it's not free, unfortunately.
@Star-Lord @kyleforrester87 I tried the demo last night for Nier and I quite liked the combat. It isn't that pretty but I liked what I saw of the baddies etc. ARggh the eternal debate!
@Totaldude911 That is one of the main sells of Resi 7 to me as I love my PSVR but haven't got any new content for it recently.
@VotesForCows That's what I've read and I like the idea of the narrative structure as it is different from most games.
