DarkSiders PS4 PlayStation 4 1

We’re getting perilously close to E3 2017 now, but we’re trying not to think about that. Instead, it’s actually surprisingly busy here at Push Square Towers for May, with the release calendar showing no signs of slowing down really. Much of the team is on review duty, with several big games being worked on as we write.

I’m gunning down space bugs in Farpoint at the moment. I can’t go into details due to a review embargo, but I guess I probably can hint that I really like that PlayStation VR Aim Controller.

Having finished PREY, my backlog looks ever-so-slightly smaller now and I can move onto other games that I've been waiting for. Farpoint is almost here so I won't spend time with anything big, but I could probably bang out Little Nightmares in the meantime.

I’m spending this weekend on planes and in hotels, so that means I’ll be playing on my Nintendo Switch. I have Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and… Well, not a lot else. But they’re both fantastic, so that ought to keep me going.

This weekend I'll be setting up my new PS4 Pro and checking out its supposedly marvellous 4K visuals. I may also check out how much of an improvement it makes to PlayStation VR.

I won't get much of a chance to play games this weekend, although I may crack out the Vita and take WipEout 2048 for a spin ahead of the launch of WipEout Omega Collection next month. If I do manage to get some time with the PS4, however, I'll likely be humming along to the whimsical tunes of LocoRoco Remastered.

This weekend I have quite a full plate with Borderlands 2, Darksiders: Warmastered Edition, and Harvest Moon: Save the Homeland on the PS4. While on the 360 it will be Lost Odyssey.

What are you playing this weekend, then? You know the drill by now: let us know in the comments section below, and we’ll be back next week.
