The D23 Games Showcase is happening right now, and Insomniac Games has just debuted a new behind the scenes video that focuses on Spider-Man and everything that's going in to the game.
The footage includes a couple of new clips, with a quick shot of Peter Parker's apartment and a glimpse of a fight with Iron Fist.
What did you take away from this behind the scenes look? Web sling into the comments below.

This game is going to be amazing can't wait till next year. It will be a great year for PlayStation once again with god of war, shenmue and I hope tlou will release at the end of the year.
Nice! We could feel the passion and care that went into this game, it basically won E3 after all. Good to see the professionals behind it speaking how they felt about the project.
@Morenoj1220 "going to be amazing". I see what you did there.... Personally I hope this will be the ULTIMATE Spider-Man game
"With great responsibility comes a great game ." That's what I am hoping for.
@Mega-Gazz Even in the worst case scenario, it'll be SUPERIOR to most of the other Spiderman games.
Much better than the E3 QTE movie they had us watch.
I'm going to pass, I am not very impressed.
@Enuo It looks like the Arkham games which is a winning formula, so I'm pretty sure we're in for something SPECTACULAR
@Mega-Gazz This is fun.
This looks so so good. Very excited for this
@Enuo I have kids, therefore I'm allowed Dad jokes.
"and a glimpse of a fight with Iron Fist" ...uuh... where?... I've watched the video twice now and the only fights I saw, either in-game or in artwork/screenshots included only Mr. Negative and Wilson Fisk.
Am I going blind or is it a mistake in the article?
Please be the latter...
I have faith in Insomniac.
Looks good but can't say games like Fuse or Sunset Overdrive excited me. Will no doubt buy because its Spider-Man and whilst SO wasn't really my thing, this looks good overall. Not keen on the QTE's in the E3 demo but if they are more 'actions' for XP but not imperative - ie you fail and have to restart - then I maybe a bit more 'forgiving'. My main issue with SO was the childishness of it and much preferred Resistance and hope the story is more 'dark' and more adult - especially as Spider-Man is no longer a teen.
@JoeBlogs There are snippets of new footage in there, but yeah, most of it is from the E3 demo.
Super excited for Spider-Man, it's looking really good.
@BAMozzy EA's input wrecked FUSE it looked like a fun colorfull game and it ended with a boring drab.
@JoeBlogs About the 1 minute mark, when he's running up the wall. Maybe it was in the E3 demo but having the guy talking over it about Spiderman being acrobatic made it seem like a better game to me. I rewatched the whole thing and didn't see any QTE button prompts. All I remember from E3 was the QTE button prompts.
So maybe it was the exact same footage, but having a button on the screen that you have to press at the exact moment makes it a different game.
So I just went and rewatched the E3 vid. There are button prompts everywhere, triangle, circle, X, L1. But you're right, it does look like a lot of the same footage, just w/o the prompts. So, either they edited the scens to cut out the button prompts, or they white washed them out for this vid, but it does look different.
Here's the E3 vid where you can see the very obvious button prompts that aren't in this vid.

Ok, went back and watched this vid a 3rd time, this time full screen, and I did briefly see an X and L1, but they cut out the crane running scene, which was the biggest offender of QTE, and that absence alone changes the entire dynamic of the vid for me.
