July has arrived, meaning that more people are thinking about vacation than video games right now. It’s a great time to catch up on your backlog or sink your teeth into something big and juicy – but what’s holding your attention? Let’s work through this week’s WAYP, shall we?

I’m dying over and over again in Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, a nostalgic collection which I’m thoroughly N. Joying. I also had an urge to play a Harry Potter game following the franchise’s recent milestone anniversary, so I started up the LEGO version on Vita. There’s some nice design, but I can only play it in short bursts.

This weekend, I'll be putting as many hours as I can into Elite Dangerous ahead of writing our review. I'm certainly looking forward to finding out all the new and interesting ways I'll come close to blowing up my ship – my encounter with a white dwarf star on my recent live stream is a very good example. I'll also be putting my regulation time into SMITE as I continue to work towards mastering every guardian character.

Due to the recent release of Stormblood (and the awesome documentary which Danny O'Dwyer put out recently). I've been catching up in the story of Final Fantasy XIV. I feel incredibly lucky that I'm able to experience what will be considered one of the best MMOs in recent years. As Eorzea's world, music, and most importantly community, provide a shining beacon of escapism for any player.

I’m taking a walk down memory lane this weekend with a nostalgia-inducing combo of Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy and the WipEout Omega Collection – two of my favourite series from childhood. Bring it on!

This weekend I'll be basking in nostalgic glory and playing Crash Bandicoot all weekend. It's strange that I still remember all of the levels by heart after all these years. My housemates, to my horror, have never played any of the games so I'm also looking forward to introducing them to one of my favourite series!

It'll mainly be Battlefield 4 with some friends for me this weekend as I revisit the old shooter thanks to it being £4 in the Playstation Store sale. I'll also intersperse with a few games of FIFA 17 and Rocket League if I have the time.

I need to play a little more Micro Machines World Series before I put pen to paper for review, so that's my primary gaming this weekend. Aside from that, I'm hoping to finally get back to Horizon: Zero Dawn and progress the main quest. Miraculously, I've not seen a single spoiler yet, so I'm really looking forward to finding out what's going on.

So with temperatures nearing 100 here, it's the perfect excuse to stay indoors. So I will be doing that with Diablo III, Modern Warfare Remastered, and The Crew this weekend.

FFX, FFXIV, and Overwatch for me:)
Crash Bandicoot. It's just how I remember it, only looks much, much prettier. The loading times are a bit of a drag, eh.
I started Kingdom Hearts II the other day so will continue with that. The beginning is a bit slow, but I like Roxas.
FFXV, Overwatch and Star Trek Online
i'm also babysitting my niece and nephew so we are playing Cluedo later
Elite Dangerous. I'm in deep space, I'm lost, I'm lonely and I'm loving it.
Finished replaying the Batman Arkham series last night so this weekend I'll be jumping between star systems in the beautiful and slightly overwhelming Elite Dangerous. If I can find time away from that I'll probably also start levelling a Necromancer in Diablo 3 along with some more Injustice 2 multiverse.
I'm back for battlefield and trying to get ending e for nier automata
Of course im playing crash bandicoot n sane trilogy and loving it,a little wipeout omega collection and hopefully after 150 hours wrapping up my witcher 3 playthrough. I'm on the blood and wine expansion now which serves as kind of a perfect epilogue to geralts adventure.

Playing crash n sane trilogy until the cows come home! (And a bit of wipeout on vita)
I'm spending the weekend recovering from oral surgery so I can only game in small doses. When i am able to I'm mostly playing Injustice 2 working on the plat & grinding a little Push Square guild points, 1CX1E is the id for anyone who wants to join. I want to do a few Pokemon Go raids this weekend but it will depend if I feel well enough to leave the house.
Battlefield 1, Overwatch, and perhaps some Ratchet and Clank!
Overwatch, farpoint, assassins creed syndicate!
Mostly Torment Tides of numenera, which has some amazing storytelling. A little Bloodborne and Gwent sprinkled in.

@KratosMD A Link to the Past is still my favorite Zelda game.
Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days mainly since I beat CoM with Riku last tuesday. Maybe I will start Gravity Rush Remastered, which has been taking space on my HDD for months now.
@b1ackjack_ps I really should start a second playthrough of Horizon. Such an unbelievably good looking game.
Just finished up Zelda II: The Adventure of Link. Will celebrate with some Battlefield 4 mp.
much like Sammy I'm dying a lot in Crash, lost 34 lives on High Road, I was biting my pad at one point
PS4 - Wolfenstein the New Order...figured I should revisit and finish this before The New Colossus drops. Also working my way through Life is Strange
PSV - God Wars: Future Past...want to pop in Tokyo Xanadu since I'm a Falcom fan but I plan to hold off for the Ex+ version for PS4
On the road for work so Vita all the way. Deep in Danganronpa, loving it so far.
My crash bandicoot copy will only arrive Thursday (why do yoiu do thia to me amazon? 😢) so I'll keep playing the wonderful horizon 😆

Well apart from Crash I managed to bag the Infamous 1 platinum on exactly 8 years to the day since I got my first trophy for it.
get even dirt 4 sniper ghost warrior
@KratosMD Yeah I loved Link Between Worlds and it's a fitting sequel to A Link to the Past. I remember renting A Link to the Past years ago and staying up all night with my friends playing it till we beat it.
Horizon Zero Dawn is the main PS4 I'm playing this weekend. On other systems, I'll probably play some Portal 2 and Super Smash Bros Wii U.
Had most the week off, so I started horizon. Still in the first area with one errand to do I'm level 18, hope this won't make the main quests to easy.
Crash & Yakuza 0
@gingerfrog don't worry about that honestly . The machines get so much harder your fine 👌🏽
Got refunded the $5 I had to pay for episode prompto (I have the season pass). Was looking for something cheap on the store to spend it in. So I picked up mad Max, to my surprise its actually a pretty fun game. So I guess I'll be playing that and maybe ff15 this weekend.
@Xaritah what I ordered mine on wednesday from Amazon and got it on friday
I'm playing ARMS while on the go, and Crash while I'm at home. Both of them are amazing! And they both make me want to pull my hair out lol.
Main PSVR Star Trek BC with a little VR Worlds. Also some time with F1 2016 And if have time life is strange
@ellsworth004
Loved Max Max, chumbucket is an excellent side kick and just driving round blowing things up was big fun, certainly worth buying on sale, would happily bought DLC if they added more story missions
Trails of cold steel 2 on the ps vita. Love catching up with all the characters from the first game.
Been playin a little crash trilogy along with
-sniper elite 4
-some gears of war 4
-dirt 4 too. Thats alot of 4's
Crash and the Nonary Games. Maybe some VR if I can get my AC fixed. Don't want a steamy visor.
Nothing. Hangover. Even looking at the phones making me motion sick. 😵
Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines. An absolutely criminally underrated semi-open world RPG, where you're basically a vampire living in a city, and the story and side quests have so far been great. The only problem is that not getting any error messages when you first get the game is borderline impossible because the game has some issues with modern computers, but using a guide solves that problem. (A guy in one of the stickied Steam community threads was super helpful with fixing the errors I was getting, and he's seemingly been helping people for years, so I would suggest asking there if you get an error when opening the game)
You also literally have to install an unofficial patch to fix various bugs, but that only takes a minute or two (Make sure to check where the game files are through Steam so that it installs in the correct place, though. Would have saved myself a lot of frustration doing that), and other than those annoyances, the game is one of the best I've ever played. Definitely a must buy for any RPG fans that enjoy immersive worlds with great quests and characters.
The game also has some of the best replayability I've seen in an RPG, because most of the vampire clans/bloodlines are radically different from one another. Some characters also react to your character differently depending on your clan, and your characters dialogue is also different. How you talk to and treat people also has an impact on quests and whatnot, and you often can either talk your way out of situations or fight through them.
Definitely recommend checking it out.
PS4 - Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, NieR: Automata
Switch - Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers, ARMS
@adf86 Did you have fun getting all the blast shards ;D ?
That was so annoying. What we do for our trophies.
Just started bloodborne recently, still playing P5 and a bit of uncharted 2 remastered. BluePoint are geniuses when it comes to these remasters, really excited to see what they can do with shadow of the Colossus
Injustice 1, replaying campaign because think I'm going too give in and buy the second one this week! Even though I'm terrible at fighting games really like the look of the new one, was going to wait but looks good. Maybe some BF1 if I get the time.
@oatmealwarrior92
Thanks, it was one of my biggest gripes with farcry 4, so early on you were overpowered it made the game a breeze.
Speaking of Crash Bash, wouldn't it be awesome to get a CTR & Crash Bash Remastered double pack?
@GlynCR but are you from england? Cause i'm from Portugal that's why 8t's taking that long 😑
@Fight_Teza_Fight Don't remind me, I had to download a map with every blast shard location just to cover every point of the map. That's pretty much why it took me 8 years.
Limbo , brilliant so far and beautiful.
@Dru196 yeah it's surprising very good. Huge game world with lots of stuff to do. Some reviews said it's repetitive but to me so far I'm enjoying beating the crap outta people and blowing stuff up! Definitely worth $7 or whatever I paid for it.
@Xaritah I am feel you pain though if it helps it'll be worth the wait
