We rushed out our previews to get eyeballs on them ahead of impending reviews, but Supermassive Games’ duo of PlayStation VR games The Inpatient and Bravo Team have been delayed into 2018. Originally scheduled to release within the next three weeks, the Until Dawn prequel will now drop on 23rd January in North America and 24th January in Europe, while co-op shooter Bravo Team will follow on 6th March in North America and 7th March in Europe. The latter did feel like it needed more work.
You can watch previews of both of these titles – and a handful of others – in the video embedded above, which we conveniently rendered out yesterday. It leaves PlayStation VR’s holiday lineup looking a little thinner than it did a few hours ago, but there’s good news afoot: Liam Croft’s most anticipated title Shooty Fruity has snagged a 19th December release date.

Don't worry guys, you'll still be shooting fruit this Christmas.
Totally read that as Lara Croft anticipated title, shooty fruity, and thought Square had gone mad.
Good news in both cases. They both seemed to be here with no real fanfare and always seemed a push to arrive so quickly. Hopefully both games really benefit from the delay.
This will give me plenty of time with Skyrim.
Bummer about The Inpatient
Seriously thou...how many people have VR? We should do a poll here...
Don’t forget Miyamoto’s famous quote:
A delayed game is eventually good, but a bad game is a poor man’s Splatoon forever.

Not on topic for the delayed games, but I am curious about the upcoming “free social VR experience” Rec Room. Any more info than what’s on the PlayStation blog?

@AFCC I have a vr and super hot vr is the killer app in my opinion
@whoisbdub how many hours do you spend gaming regularly vs VR gaming?
@AFCC
My VR time would be best served on a monthly basis. I probably spend about 2 to 3 hours a month using VR. But then, I have a job, a family and other obligations. My PS4 time a month probably equates to 14 hours. That's why I have such a huge backlog and never unwrapped my PS3 Skyrim.
Life.
@AFCC not much vr compared to normal but I think that has a lot to do with the shortness of most of the vr games and the lack of a very big vr library but I own 10 vr games so I do enjoy what time I do spend in it
@whoisbdub @lacerz
I think it's still too soon for VR. To me it's still a niche...until they have a way to play it for more hours and they realize fully fledged games why would I trade regular gaming time for it?
@AFCC for the same reason you do regular gaming....its fun. But hey to each there own you do what you enjoy.
@whoisbdub But like, imagine if you had 2 games you wanted. One VR and one regular...would you choose vr over the regular one? Knowing you will probably have more hours with it?
@AFCC oh man I'm the wrong one to ask that one I have a switch xbox one x ps4 pro psvr new 3ds and a vita I NEVER pick just one I got games I haven't even started yet I have a problem😥😎 but I never hesitate to get a good vr game it's that much fun but I imagine the next gen of vr is going to be much better your not missing out on too much but if you ever want to jump in my advice is do it
@whoisbdub Well I have all that except Xbox and VR...I'm thinking about trading my PS4 for a PRo just because of the noise...but other than that I would like to try VR first before buying it...but here in my country is hard to try it!
@AFCC The pro is nice still pretty loud but def. Quieter then the og ps4 but the pro makes the psvr so much better had my first ps4 when I got vr way sharper and smoother on pro and the psvr will not disappoint bought mine before I tried one and I was blown away by it first time I played even on og ps4
@whoisbdub But that's a big investement to make right now...
