Damn and blast and bugger, it looks like Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom may be delayed again. At the time of writing, the gorgeous looking role-playing game is due out on the 19th January in both North America and Europe, but according to a handful of posters on ResetEra, retailer Best Buy is sending out emails to inform customers that the title has been pushed into March 2018.
As far as we're aware, Best Buy is the only retailer sending these emails out right now, so there's a chance that this could be some sort of bug in the system. That said, this is often how we first hear about delays. If all this turns out to be true, we imagine Bandai Namco will soon release a statement.
To be fair, though, January is already packed with enticing games. We're talking Dissida Final Fantasy NT, Dragon Ball FighterZ, and Monster Hunter: World. Maybe it's for the best that Ni no Kuni II gets more room to breathe a little later in the year?
We'll keep you updated, anyway.

Hmm I don't know, that is brining the release date periously close to the end of Feb release of the upcoming Metal Gear Survive juggernaught. Don't fancy its chances compared to that release...
Just kidding, January is looking really quite rammed so might be good if true.
Good then i have more time to play games there where to many releases in this smalle amount of time.
@Rudy_Manchego If more than 10 people buy that game then the world is doomed
@AFCC Sigh, you are right. That eleventh person will have a lot to answer for.
This strikes me as a good thing personally, as I really want to put some proper time aside for this one!
Holding out for a remaster for the first game anyway.
one of the best games ever.and the most beautiful game ever.can't wait.take your time playa word up son
Damn. At least The Alliance Alive is coming to 2DS in January.
The further away from Xenoblade 2 this launches, the more likely I am to pick this up at launch. So I'm hoping this turns out to be true.
@Rudy_Manchego Jesus, I'd forgotten about that abomination! Hopefully people don't buy it and Konami will leave that series to rest in peace instead of continually exploiting it with games like Survive.
So does this mean the first DLC pack will be part of the base game now and they can cut the price of the season pass in half from $20 to $10, surely it will be done by then.
The game is probably done, they are just busy trying to remember what DLC and swag to put into each version of the game in the US and EU.
Good, january is monhun world time for me. Also maybe dbf z and dissidia nt time.
I have got to a point now where the more games they delay the better...just cannot keep up with the games I have.
January was too packed tbh but this might put it close to Detroit if that release window of 'Early 2018' holds up.
EDIT: When does RDR2 come out again?
@Rudy_Manchego My most fond franchise...ruined like that. It hurts...
@AFCC I have a theory that the whole Konami/Kojima beef was an act and that Survive is actually a proper sequel and Death Stranding is actually a licensed Sony version of PT. Oh that prankster Kojima.
OK, it isn't a great theory.
@Rudy_Manchego Imagine if Death Stranding was really PT with another name...I think it would be one of the most sold titles EVER
More time to concentrate on Shadow of the Colossus and Monster Hunter then.
As much as I want them to make sure the game is perfect, this is killing me. Ni No Kuni 2 is one of my most anticipated games. I couldn’t care less about the other games coming out just give me my NNK2!!!
If it is delayed I'm likely to pick up Monster Hunter... I suppose the more polished the game is the better.
So its delayed for the third time now?
With Street Fighter V AE, Dragonball FighterZ and Monster Hunter dropping in Jan (not to mention a wealth of games in the backlog!) I for one was relieved to read that title
Hopefully this means the game will be polished out more if true, I'd rather have delays if it means the game performs better.
@rjejr Wait they're releasing DLC and Season Pass? I honestly didn't know about this XD.
