Call of Duty: WWII fans will receive their first round of DLC for the title, which will arrive first on 30th January for PlayStation 4 players. In a behind-the-scenes glimpse, Sledgehammer has released a video detailing what to expect from the first pack.
The DLC, aptly named The Resistance, will feature three new themed multiplayer maps including a new war mode and zombie chapter to boot. Nazi Zombie fans, rejoice.
Its new War Mode, known as Operation Intercept, will see players rescuing resistance fighters and recapturing radio towers, all along the help of French Forces. The new multiplayer maps called Valkyrie, Anthropoid, and the Occupation will follow the same Resistance theme, with Valkyrie following the failed real-life attempt to assassinate Hitler.
As for its zombie content called Darkest Shore, it introduces tougher and more intelligent zombies, new weaponry, and even environmental fog to make those fights a little bit more challenging.
The Resistance will be available as a part of the Season Pass, but whether it’ll be available as a standalone expansion is unclear at this point.
Three new DLCs are planning to drop later in 2018, so stay tuned for more information as soon as it hits. In the meantime, you can check out the behind-the-scenes preview from Sledgehammer above and let us know your thoughts.

Sounds good, this is the only Call of Duty since CoD 4 that I’ve found worth buying, it’s definitely my favourite of the series and it probably helps that I’m really into anything to do with WW2. I don’t think much of the zombie mode though.
A quick off topic question but why is this site constantly advertising the Xbox One X? Being a PlayStation focused site, thought it’d advertise PS4 Pro/PSVR instead.
@MaccaMUFC It's not up to us to pick and choose the advertisements, at least that's what both Sammy and Ant have told me in the past. As long as it's nothing inappropriate like advertisements for male enhancement pills or something along those lines we don't have much say.
@gabriellapetty It will probably be made available for standalone purchases all CoD DLC is. The season pass just saves you a bit of mine over buying them individually.
Really excited for Wolf's Lair as that is one of my favorite stories from WWII, Operation Valkyrie. Kinda surprised that they didn't make it a War mode map where we play out Operation Valkyrie.
I wish it would be story dlc that continues the campaign rather than dlc themed/map or zombie,
