Here’s a trailer for Horizon: Zero Dawn’s Complete Edition, which is out this week and includes the recently released Frozen Wilds expansion pack. And oh look, here’s Death Stranding creator Hideo Kojima telling us it’s “truly impressive” in Japanese. And here’s Siobhan Reddy from Media Molecule dropping swears that would have Sackboy reaching for his worried emote. And here’s an actress talking in Spanish? Wait, WTF is going on?
We suppose Sony’s trying to show how much of an impact Aloy’s adventure has had on people across the globe with this clip, but it’s a bit of an oddball launch trailer, isn’t it? Oh well, 9/10 from Push Square – if you haven’t played it yet, you know what to do.

Death Stranding is actually a sequel to Horizon
I counted 4 cosplayers and 1 "super-fan" in that trailer. Having people from the industry talking about it seemed like the only normal part, no matter the language or swearing.
Nothing against cosplayers, I'm all about the cosplayers, but it makes for a weird trailer. Like - "You should really play this game b/c there's an attractive CGI woman in it."
Guess it's better than 4 super-fans and 1 cosplayer though.
1 hour in, I really need to get to it.
A cameo by Hideo Kojima
Cue cards read by Hideo Kojima
he was there to show some love before he will let us see his game in the same engine. the other people were... weird tho. especially that one looking exactly like a nora
@rjejr Except she’s really not very attractive... but I agree about the cosplayers/fans being the odd part.
That seems more like a video for HZD's impact on cosplayers and game developers, not really a pitch for the complete edition.
Anyway, been trying to start this game up for a while now but always trail off. Hoping to finally beat it before Christmas, then start Nier
I'll save my WTF's for the next Death Stranding trailer.
The game still is amazing, my favorite of this generation.
Maybe it's me but I honestly think he's is way overated. I just don't get why he is put on such a high pedestal amoung the gaming world.
@Tasuki Metal Gear Solid 1? Hello? That game alone is legendary.
He was one of the first to put in great cinematic experience into games.
While MGS V could have been better (I blame Konami), I find Kojima to be an extraordinarily creative person.
@tatsumi It's good but I wouldn't say it's lengendary. Legendary would be like Pac-man or The Legend of Zelda or even Super Mario 64. But maybe that's just me.
@Tasuki Basically he's a master at titillation and pretentious bull. I've played MGS1, 2, 4 and each game was more cringe-worthy than the last. He also somehow seems to be getting a pass for treating fictional female characters like penthouse pets when all other devs are burned because of it.
Certainly one of the best games of the generation
@Tasuki You're not alone. I don't understand it either. He's very talented but also a huge money pit. Everyone always wonders why Konami had such a tight leash on him at the end, and fail to look at all the deadlines he failed to meet and millions he cost them when he decided to "rewrite" MGSV a few times.
@tatsumi but I don't think its mgs rather its metal gear 1 that puts him on the map, that game literally created a whole genre.
That was a random trailer, but definitely hope more people discover the awesomeness that is Horizon: Zero Dawn.
I still need to get around to playing it myself, maybe during Christmas week if I finish Ratchet & Clank and Uncharted 4?
