After the awesome PSone Anniversary Theme, we’re surprised that Sony hasn’t capitalised on its legacy with more throwback backgrounds. Fortunately, it’s announced this humdinger inspired by the PS2’s legendary clock. If you’re not sure what we’re referring to, here’s the last-last-gen console’s timepiece in all of its glory:
The new theme, named the Legacy Dashboard Theme, will set you back $2.99 from the PlayStation Store starting on 6th December. Sold.

STOP MAKING ME SPEND MONEY
I’m in!
Thought it would be free. Its a clock I already have a watch.
Always loved the PS2 clock...nostalgia sigh..
Oh, man. I didn't know I wanted this so much.
$3 is waaaaaay too much for a theme. and i can already see that it doesn't have custom icons.
I don't usually like paying for themes like this... buuuuut, I can make an exception here.
Man, that brings back some real good memories.
Any word if it's gonna be released in the EU PSN Store?
Fact. The towers on the PS2 home screen represents your saved data on the memory card inserted at the time.
Looks like I have to get rid of my custom theme for this. I loved the PsOne theme and this is even better.
Brings back a lot of good memories.
This theme is made by Truant Pixel (Sony's approval) they make awesome themes so their probably the one company that is worth paying for. Their recent Rez Infinite Singularity theme is worth a look too.
So effing GOOD!
I'll keep the Shipwreck theme from the -FREE- Uncharted 10th Anniversary Bundle.
I'll get it!
