Sony always puts together good montages, and this first-party hype trailer is one that could be fitting of the E3 2018 stage. A little bit like the platform holder’s legendary Ethos video, this clip pairs stinging synths with hype-inducing text and gameplay footage from around a dozen first-party PlayStation 4 exclusives.
While there’s nothing new to see, it’s a reminder of the breadth of PlayStation’s games, and the sheer number that are on the way. Which of the titles shown are you most looking forward to? Hug your PS4 in the comments section below.

Definitely looking forward to Spider-Man and God of War.
It really has become a terrific console. Can't wait for MLB The Show 18, God of War and Spider-Man.
All must-have titles! PS4 has to be Sony's best console ever. Also, they mastered SP story-based games, I hope they never let go of it - much like Nintendo with its own style, Playstation found something they're really good at, pushing the industry forward.
Great trailer!
God of War and Spiderman.
Looking forward to Spider-man and TLOU2. Also, are we getting DQXI this year?
It's a really good video, isn't it? Proper hype.
For me, the Exclusives that I will certainly buy are Last of Us 2, Ghost of Tsushima, Days Gone, Spider-Man and God of War - the last two have been pre-ordered. I am not a fan of the GoW franchise but the new direction has interested me. I don't know if the existing fanbase will be happy with no jumping and the fact that Kratos now needs Atreus (very 'Ellie' style) to get up into areas he could easily have jumped up in the past but overall, the new direction appeals. The only other exclusive (that I know of anyway) that 'could' be a possible purchase is Death Stranding but at the moment its a case of style over substance so I want to see what 'substance' it has.
Its no secret that Sony's biggest asset is currently the Exclusives. MS are falling behind here, even with the ones we know about. MS have tried to reign in their announcements in the last year or two and not announcing games that are a few years out after a few delays and cancellations - Whilst Sony are happy to reveal games a few years+ in advance of release. Sony though have appeared to be affected by numerous delays and leaving out 'release dates' until they are very confident these will be met. Anyway, to get back to the point, MS's are generally unlikely to be Game of the Year contenders - although Forza still continues to be one of the best in genre. There is also the different approaches each has - Sony are making more Single Player focused games where as MS games seem to have an 'online' (not just competitive MP), maybe because Live is one of its strengths and 'according to independent sources, the 'best'. Nintendo though are proving that Sony can't rest on its laurels here either with the popularity of the Switch and a long history of critically acclaimed exclusives too.
The two areas that Sony have over its closest (in terms of console hardware and the software it runs) rival is Exclusives and VR. They can't claim the most powerful or the best place to play 3rd party releases anymore and VR hasn't 'taken' off - yet. Its not surprising then that Sony are flaunting its greatest assets - the Exclusives and its hard to argue as most will no doubt be critically acclaimed and likely to be recognised at the end of the year award shows - whether they win or not, who knows but you can bet they will be at least nominated!
I will never stop buying games for this consoles
Best trailer ever word up son
@RenanKJ oh yes PlayStation 4 is the best.no doubt playa word up son
Nice trailer. Seeing those God of War clips there has made me think that I've been greatly overlooking that game up to now.
Only on Playstation b*tches.
Excellent trailer.
Good to see PSVR included in there. Although Bravo Team should have been left out.
@get2sammyb , how you feeling about that VR tennis game coming soon?
And how come you never play Sparc™?
God, I love PlayStation gaming! Trailer was really cool. Only thing that could have made it better would have been some Medievil Remastered footage.
Unreal isn’t it. I’m too old to be that guy but my son plays on Xbox and he’s sat on his bed playing fire emblem on his phone. Meanwhile I’ve just had to delete shadow to make space for ni no Kuni while hoping I get to finish them both before god of war! Crazy times as always with PlayStation.
Kinda ironic to see Inpatient and Bravo Team here, considering both were inmensely disappointing. Would have been better if they added Moss or something.
All of the games, except the VR games i want it i just cant afford it. 😁 😑
@CFDennett Why not a external harddisk safes you a lot of time.
Yeah I know, one of these days!!
Can't wait for god of war, spiderman and detroid
Best system to play exclusives and can’t wait to see the future that holds for Sony and the PS4 and ps5. Loyalty till the end and will never switch sides
@SirRealDeal I wasn't aware there was a new tennis game coming to PSVR! Share all the deets!
I'd be happy with just God Of War
That would have been a proper opener for E3. Nicely done.

Ah man.. upon closer attention, I see it's a supposed 2019 release.

@SirRealDeal Interesting!
I need to find more game time if I am ever going to catch up on all of these.
Good corporate promo, now give me a Japanese advert.
