The video game industry’s got its nostalgia goggles on hard, with Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection just one of the many retro revivals due out in May. Fortunately, this first gameplay footage of the compilation is looking pretty sharp, showcasing how all 12 titles have been meticulously ported to the PlayStation 4, with some pretty nifty features layered on top.
Perhaps the most impressive thing here is the instantaneous loading, which is pretty remarkable to say the least. There are also a raft of ways you can customise each release to display how you want it to, in addition to a full museum cataloguing the history of the iconic franchise. Good stuff, but we can’t help but wish it bundled in Street Fighter IV as well for completion’s sake.

Oh God it looks so sleek. I am so happy to have resisted buying SFIII on ps3 and so happy to be able to play it online!
Already have it pre ordered. I wish Alpha 2 would have online play but it’s all good. With Ultra Street Fighter IV and V already on PS4 and now this collection, it’s perfect.
I still have SF Alpha 3 original disc from my PSOne days and with manual and case still okay it from time to time. I also have Capcom Vs SNK 2 on PS3 but I can't play it because the pad turns it self off and when I try to connect it it locks up my console
Hoping for Legacy stick support.
I may not be getting this but I can’t wait to see a certain YouTuber get rekt by mere children/SF Enthusiasts...
I haven't played a whole lot of classic Street Fighter during my life, so I'm really glad we're getting all the classics on one disc so I can remedy that.
This is the best!!!! Cant wait!
Looking forward to completing my mainline street fighter collection.
I played more SF Alpha 3 on PS2 than any actual PS2 game.
I think I'll display my SOTA action figures around my telly to celebrate in May.
Hyper fighting & SSF2 turbo look faster than the original arcade!?! Hope that gets fixed!
Awful to have this incredible collection just to have this glaring issue. Why hasnt someone stepped up to say something i wonder.
