Bethesda's announced a brand new expansion for The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited, and it's heading to PlayStation 4 this summer. Much like The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind -- which launched last year -- the fresh expansion will whisk players away to a new region, which will house its own story and quests.
Yep, you're journeying to Summerset, home of the High Elves. The region's been mentioned plenty of times throughout the main series, but the games have never actually taken place there. It'll be interesting to see what the developer does with it.
The Elder Scrolls Online: Summerset launches on the 5th June, but will you be catching a boat to its shores? Become a Psijic Monk in the comments section below.

Really need to get into this sometime, played a few hours and thats it
Wait, people are still playing this?
I'm genuinely surprised!
Those elves are all the same; all flash and NO FURY!
I wish I had stuck with this game cant knock their continued support for it
Make Elder Scrolls 6 already ya bums
I just started Skyrim on the Switch and I am really enjoying it alot. Makes me wish that they would remaster all the other Elder Scrolls now.
@Tasuki The first 3 need an Complete overhaul
@viciousarcanum Why?
I'm looking forward to it, although, as a subscriber, I resent the fact that it is another "pay for chapter" rather than DLC (which is what it really is); but why greed and cynicism still surprise me I'm not sure. Anyway, I'm pretty embedded in the game so will no doubt pay up.
I also noticed in their blurb, that they mention that this chapter concludes the main questline; wonder if ESO 2 is on the horizon? I can hear my wallet squealing...
@Tasuki
would love morrowind to be remastered, which is still my favourite, also would like fallout 3 and new vegas remastered for the switch
Summerset, at least the elves will have great quality cider.
I tried ESO but it didn't click with me. I'd love a new single player Elder Scrolls game set in Elsweyr.
Will this release force existing players to upgrade like Morrowind did? It was several months after the Morrowind expansion release before I could pick it up, but in the interim time period, I couldn't login at all until I upgraded... which makes me not want to bother with it again unless that part is rectified... and really... I don't care to pick that one back up unless it gets VR support similar to Skyrim VR --which I doubt will happen at this point.
