During its brief showing on the stage at EA Play, developers from DICE confirmed that Battlefield V will include a Battle Royale mode, because of course it will.
DICE says that Royale will be "unlike anything you've played before", as it brings Battlefield's "core pillars of destruction, team play, and vehicles" to the popular mode. More information will be shared later this year.

I know a lot of people are going to freak out but for me as long as they support the main modes as they have been like conquest, operations etc then I think it will be fun. Something to jump on to every now and again when u want a change. Kind of like war pigeons in the most recent one. Also if any shooter was going to add the mode and have it be fun it was battlefield. Their maps are always big and they already do 64 players
sigh
if i see 1 more dev claiming that their version of battle royale is " something never seen before" i'm gonna lose my mind.
quit that trend already.
BattleRoyaleField V.
Go pre order now.
At this point I would be more surprised if a new game DIDN'T have a Battle Royale mode in it.
I think this could be great! I mean, there aren’t really any BR games. PS4 has Fortnite (cartoony TPS with an awkward building mechanic) and H1Z1. Then there’s PUBG which is just as basic as you can get.
Royale with cheese?
I love Battlefield and have never played a Battle Royale game so this is great news.
I don't see why people are hating on the fact it has a Battle Royal mode i get that it is the trend right now but if you don't like it just don't play that mode in the game
Looks like I am going to ignore BF game for first time ever and save some money...
@MGC_Martin Yeah that's a good idea because there won't be any other modes to play, huh.
@Tasuki Rush was my bread and butter. And game in general looks a lot like BF1 tbh which isn't the best thing.
