Every year, one of E3's biggest games gets pasted across the towers of The Hotel Figueroa in Los Angeles. We're going to assume that this prime advertising space costs quite a bit of cash to secure, so the fact that Bethesda's nabbed it for Fallout 76 is perhaps an indication that the publisher is going all-in on the supposed spin-off.
Snapped by the ever-informative @Nibellion, The mural itself features three Vault Boys happily striding out of their hole in the ground. What's more, the slogan reads "Our Future Begins". Further indication that this is going to be a multiplayer-focused title? We'll know soon enough when the game shows up at Bethesda's press conference.

Unfortunately I have zero interest if its as boring as as Elder Scrolls Online, how long will the wait be for the next Fallout or Elder Scrolls RPG, very sad.
its probably because most people seem to have zero interest in it, so trying to build up hype etc
I'm sure they'll make their dollars back from all the online microtransactions the game will inevitably have.
I'm amazed at the hate this getting seeing as we know next to zero about it yet.
@Mergatro1d We're in the bubble. It's going to be a big hit, it's just on sites like these "online multiplayer" is a dirty word. For the millions upon millions of other gamers in the world, it's a selling point.
Well I’m super excited for it. Anything set in the Fallout universe is a selling point for me. Haters gonna hate
@Bad-MuthaAdebisi it's only been 3 years since Fallout 4, Elder Scrolls is the one to be worried about really 7 years and 90000 ports show there's still life in Skyrim
I really didn't like Fallout 4 too much. Hopefully this game is better than that game...
@get2sammyb You’re right, I’m also not interested in multiplayer games only.
@get2sammyb It's true. Games like Fortnite are the biggest thing in gaming right now but every article about it posted here only ever gets 5 or less comments. Then you see a review for an unknown indie game and it triples the comment amount. Which I find interesting as it shows most of us here have similar likes and dislikes even if it doesn't follow most of the gaming population.
I think this game is going to do really well to be honest. Fallout 4 had lots of complainers that still bought it and sank 200 hours into it. I imagine they'll do the same here.
Fallout 4 left me feeling a bit disappointed as it felt more like a last gen game - Fallout 3 with the bolted on and clunky base building mechanics - ok so it had a wider colour palette but it still felt 'old'. Fallout was still a 'Massive' name though and many expected it to be the game that 'others' had to avoid - much like they are with RDR2 this year.
Whether Fallout 76 is going to be 'big' or not, the vault boy image is iconic now and instantly recognisable for Bethesda - maybe not quite Mario or Sonic. It doesn't necessarily have to be there as the 'biggest' game/announcement from Bethesda but its enough to get peoples interest in their briefing. It wouldn't make sense to have RAGE 2 or Starfield imagery as those aren't iconic and Starfield hasn't yet been officially announced. They probably can't have Doom or Wolfenstein because its too scary or could be controversial for the general public who may pass by.
If it is some MP or online MMO thing, I certainly won't be buying Fallout 76 but I maybe interested if its more 'New Vegas'...
@suikoden I doubt that, they are just building hype for it casue it's Fallout. I am sure that they had this all planned even before that reveal trailer. Something like that the sides of the buildings painted would take a few months to plan out and such.
@get2sammyb It's funny cause it also seems the negative comments, dislikes etc. always seem to been seen alot more then the positive comments especially on the internet, I can't help to think it's just people jumping on the hate bandwagon.
I am remembered by CoD: Infinite Warfare. The trialer got is the second most disliked vidoe on YouTube, people said it was the death of CoD and the hate and negative comments were everywhere, yet that game outsold Titanfall 2 and Battlefield 1 combined. It may not have sold as much as say BO2 or previous CoD games but it did sell well industry wise.
I feel the same will happen with Fallout 76 the negative comments and such will be seen alot more then the positive ones but it will still sell pretty well. I guess then people who have anything good to say just don't bother posting and such due to fear of being ganged up on or trolled or just don't see the point in going against the grain so to speak.
I stayed in that hotel once, but I never saw it from this angle. Now I know why one side of the building was super dark and didn't have any windows LMAO.
Looks like it could be a photoshopped image from GTA5.
Actually a Fallout themed dlc could be fun in GTA online. Power armor, vault suits, plasma weapons, new Survivals battling super mutants, and feral ghouls running amok.
@ShogunRok Do we know for sure there won't be a single player story mode of some sort?
@ToddlerNaruto No, not yet, the info we have on it is quite muddy. Apparently it'll have quests and dialogue and all the usual Fallout stuff, but there'll be an emphasis on crafting/building, and it'll likely support online play.
@ShogunRok As long as the quests are like Fallout 4's story mode, I'll be happy.
