We said yesterday that Battlefield V's Gamescom trailer would be bombastic, and here it is, featuring all the explosions you could possibly squeeze into two minutes. It looks visually stunning and chaotic on a grand scale -- something of a series trademark.
Perhaps the most notable thing about this trailer, however, is the last 20 seconds or so that appears to tease the game's Battle Royale mode - aptly named Royale - as we see tanks and a wall of fire encroaching on a shrinking space. Hopefully this means we'll get to see more of the mode fairly soon.
What do you think of Battlefield V's latest trailer? Are you excited to play EA's action packed WWII FPS? Fall back to the comments below.

I find it funny how EA and Activision appear to be in some kind of stand off, both teasing Battle Royale but neither yet willing to reveal their hand.
Way better trailer than what has been released so far. Good job!
@zimbogamer this should have been their first trailer. Or at least part of it. That would totally have changed the public opinion on the game.
I think the music is terrible though.
To be fair, if anyone can make a great Battle Royale mode it's the Battlefield lot. I don't think I'll ever get around to playing it, but I bet it's good.
This trailer honestly almost makes me want to buy the game.
@Flurpsel exactly. The first trailer did nothing for me and I am a little bit of a Battlefield fan boy lol. Music was meh but I likes the map showcasing
