Gamescom 2018 is just around the corner, and it looks like the industry is starting to re-awaken from its E3 slumber as announcements start to take shape. To kick things off, Deep Silver has just revealed its latest project, an RPG titled Outward.
"Outward is an open world RPG that you play alone or with friends, either online or in split-screen. It's more than just an open world RPG you can play co-op though. You live the life of an adventurer, from his or her humble beginnings up until you become a hardened wanderer, whilst traversing incredible landscapes rich with diversity and life."
With a scheduled release date of 12th February 2019, this one isn't too far off. Are you looking forward to delving deeper with friends? Cast a spell in the comments below.

looks interesting but i'll be playing solo.
i just don't see the point of coop in a RPG,that just breaks the immersion imo.
Looks good, co-op seems essential as I can't see any other mere mortal NPCs around to populate a story or any kind of narrative. Maybe it's early days though.
When I watched the trailer and saw the release date 12.2.19 I thought “Gah! really?! Why put up a release date and promote a game a year and a half away, coming out nearly into 2020?” Then I read the article and realized I was misled by my American tendency to put the month first before the date. February 12th sounds more reasonable than December 2nd. That’s a big difference. 😂
hopefully the co op will impact the story and npcs will address both of you, looks pretty cool
@Th3solution me too! Then I remembered it’s Gamescom
LOCAL CO-OP!
I'm in.
Splitscreen is making a comeback!! Immersion breaking? Give me a break lol
