Remember V-Rally 4? It was announced back in March, given a vague September release window, and little has been seen of it since. The revival of the old-school rally racer has been trucking along with small snippets of gameplay, however, such as the hill climb gameplay above. It looks okay, but it has a rocky road ahead.
With a 6th September release date in Europe and 11th September in the US, there's a worry that V-Rally 4 won't get a look in. The month is absolutely packed with high profile games, as you're no doubt aware. It'll have its own audience to a degree, but at the same time, it's hard to ignore the tidal wave of AAA titles it'll be competing with.
We'll have to wait and see, of course. Are you interested in V-Rally 4? Will it be one of your September purchases? Aquaplane into the comments below.

Interested, but the timing is unfortunate.
If I buy a full priced retail release in September, it will be Spider-Man.
And the next driving based games will Team Sonic Racing and Grip.
Didn't know anything about this.
Played quite a lot of V-Rally 97 back in the day
I did enjoy V-Rally back in the day, but Rollcage even more so. I will wait a little bit longer for Grip instead.
I really don't think this "releasing in September oh no you're screwed" thing is too much to worry about. Lower profile games like this and Tomb Raider will surely do well beyond the launch period on the run up to Christmas. People up and down the county will be buying those 2 games for their significant others as presents.
I watched the V rally trailer the other day, it was pretty bad. But I'm interested in the game. Better than Dirt 2?
Looks very PS2
For old time's sake, I'm interested. The original V-Rally was one of my favourite games on PSOne. But September is a no go. It's also one of those games that you just know will be half price within a couple of months.
If this is 60fps on base console, I'm getting this...
