Rumour: Gun-Based JRPG Resonance of Fate Is Getting a PS4 Remaster

Remaster Binary Domain and Vanquish and SEGA best games of last generation are all in PS4.

This wasn't half bad! Don't know if it needs a remaster tbh but I guess Sega wants to sell a jrpg on Switch and has been looking at their ps3 catalogue

This is amazing news if true!Resonance Of Fate was a brilliant rpg!I'm not one for all these remakes and remasters but when the games are absolute classics I'll let it go.

I was hoping this would happen soon. Massively underrated, and underappreciated, most likely due to the steep learning curve with the battle system (which is one of my gfavourite battle systems of any JRPG). Maybe they can somehow ease players in with some new difficulty settings or a better tutorial. I suspect it will be a straight up remaster though.

I liked it, … it had guns, something you rarely see in JRPGs. I liked the combat and the storyline's main idea. It had an Epic feel to me. So I have fond memories of this game and wouldn't mind buying it again for the PS4.

I never finished it, but I did really enjoy the setting/music of this one. I'd certainly give it another go

This is so far the only game I've ever played that I just didn't understand whatsoever. Like I looked at the tutorial and all but I just couldn't figure out how the combat system worked, it was really bizarre.

Oh man, I was hoping this would be getting a remaster after hearing the Last Remnant got one, awesome.

Now we just need a Mass Effect Trilogy remaster, make it happen EA, you love easy money right?

I may likely keep a holdout stance for Switch yet again (heck, it's paid off even with FFXII!), but I welcome the news as it is. Interested since the game's release, actually got to try it several months ago at a time cafe and what I played sold me on the game just like that. Including the battle system, even if I got my butt handed to me in almost every battle. Tri-Ace is tri-Ace. One fewer gem of theirs will be stuck on PS3 now; maybe I can even dare to fancy Eternal Sonata and Infinite Undiscovery (I also got to try both and was left in the market for both) to follow suit.

Easily one of the best games of last gen and one of my proudest 1000GS games on 360. Day one buy if this remaster happens!
