Work has resumed on The Walking Dead: The Final Season, almost two months after Telltale Games closed down. Skybound Entertainment said that it has “been a ton of work logistically and legally to get us to a place where we're able to roll up our sleeves and get to the actual work” but that production of the final two episodes is now underway.
It added that “many of the talented, passionate team members who originally worked on the game are resuming development efforts today”. There are no release dates for the remaining instalments just yet, but they’ll be announced in due time. Existing owners of the Season Pass will not need to pay for the remaining chapters, while older episodes that temporarily got pulled from digital storefronts will be restored soon.

this good news
I’m fascinated by what may become of this. I wonder if it will come off as disjointed or slapped together, given the rocky development. The fact that many of the original Telltale team members are involved should help with continuity
gotta give them credit where it's due.
some games now release with content missing and still getting high scores (Battlefield) but this team is focused to finish what was started and and give the people the rest of the chapters no matter how hard it may be.
i think that other bigger teams would not bother anymore, considering that there already is a standard with some devs to just release games ASAP without regard for the full content and quality.
The Working Dead..
This is fantastic news. It's nice to see something like this happen too.
Glad most of the team members are back to work. Just finished season 3 and hope they release the full season 4 on disc as that's how I like to collect them.
